Does anyone else’s baby spit up like cottage cheese looking spit up on this formula?

This formula was designed by me and I know it well, it contains a waxy rice starch that thickens in the stomach precisely to minimize spit up or regurgitation. If your baby spits up with this formula already in the process of thickening this could be a sign of something a bit more serious and a pediatrician should be consulted. From my experience this could be a hital hernia causing the spit up. Check with your doctor and follow the doctor’s advice. Good luck, best wishes!

Is this thick in the bottle ? the similac spit up version could not flow through my dr. brown 2 nipple. what size should i use for this ?

Is the protein predigested in enfamil ar

Enfamil A.R. is made with casein-predominant milk protein, which is 20:80 whey to casein. It is pre-thickened with added rice starch to help reduce frequent spit up. If you are looking for a "pre-digested" product, the protein in Nutramigen LGG comes from extensively hydrolyzed casein. Casein hydrolysate is milk protein (casein) that has been "pre-digested" with enzymes to break down the protein. You might want to ask your baby's doctor which Enfamil formula meets your little one's needs.
