I have tried many newer products but always come back to Hoppe's #9 oil.

Easy to use and does the job
Sometimes either you need some oil that will get in between things or that will cover the surface. This spray is good for that. Does not spray too heavy of a coating or clump. Have trusted Hoppes for over 50 years.

Hoppes is good stuff, still mineral oil based. It seems to have a different smell than I remember.

Light lubricant
This lubricant is very light, something I have been trending towards recently. Remington gun oil which has been my go to is thicker and heavier. I like that I can spray it in to hard to reach parts something you cannot do with a squeeze bottle. I have only used it half a dozen times and so far it has been great. It leaves a light film on the metal which I like.
