Worth the money!!!
This was more than worth the money!!! I love this. The 2 chargers last a long time. The ONLY drawback is I wouldn't recommend it for taller people. I'm 5'5 and I bend over a little while using it so my back hurts afterwards.

Makes my yard care routine much more pleasant
I was using a gas weed whacker for years and wanted to give this one a try. It is certainly not as powerful as the gas one, but I am finding in most applications that is actually a good thing. It uses much less string than my gas one, especially when trimming around fences. The string just kind of skips off the fence instead of ripping apart. The name brand string replacements are a bit expensive, but the generic ones I ordered from Amazon seem to be working just as well. I never had a blower before this so that is also a huge upgrade for me. It is not the most powerful thing, but it works great to clean up the mess the trimmer leaves behind. Also nice to clean up light snow from cars and walkways. The batteries do not last too long, but enough to get what I need to done. I also have 2 extra batteries from hedge trimmers so its not an issue for me at all. If these end up failing in the future I will replace them with more powerful electric models, I do not miss the gas trimmer.

Good for what it is
Blower weighs almost nothing which is awesome. It will blow grass, dirt, etc. It's not powerful enough to move big piles of leaves or anything. Trimmer is VERY light duty. String is short and thin. This would be good for standard weed eating of a smaller sized yard space. You won't move as fast through the job vs. a more traditional trimmer. Length is adjustable which is nice. Battery life is acceptable, about 30 minutes per full charge. Pretty impressive for tiny batteries. Power will diminish as battery drains but that is typical of any of any battery powered tool. I got these to replace larger heavier equipment that gives my neck issues. For the price and if you need something light, this is a good set.

Hubs loves these.
We bought a fancier brand but didnt like how complicated refilling the string was, and it was too heavy. These little guys get the job done without all the fuss.

VERY convenient and a great price!
It's so nice to be able to get things done without worrying about gas or wires - just snap on a battery and go! Great for doing some quick work. The batteries don't last a very long time, especially if you're doing heavy-duty work, but with two batteries in this package, you can have one standing by while using the first one. About a month after getting these, I happened to be walking down this aisle at one of the big home center stores and saw they had just the trimmer "on-sale" for more than this whole kit. I thought my memory was off so I took out my phone to look up my Amazon order to be sure it was the same thing and it was. And across the aisle from that was the blower sold separately. The total of those two items was almost double what I paid for this. Exactly the same items except that the kit contains only one battery charger whereas two separate items at the store would include a charger for each item. But that still doesn't make up for their prices being so high. A guy standing next to me seemed to wonder why I was getting a little excited so I showed him my phone and asked him if I was reading all these item numbers correctly. He confirmed what I already knew (then took out his phone to look up the item that he had been looking at on the shelf. He left the store with his phone in his hand and no purchase. Oops!).

EDITED (7/15/21) It gets the job done, as long as the job isn't that big.
After growing up in a farm house of Stihl products, I knew that after moving into the city I didn't want to bother with mixing and storing gas/oil for my small lawn, so when I saw this battery powered combo go on sale, I knew I wanted to try it. Mostly weed whacker/battery information: Honestly, for $90 it gets the job done, so long as the job isn't really big. I've got about a third of an acre and I do a little bit of work trimming and edging every few days when I get an extra hour, and it's worked out pretty well. Yesterday I did a rough edge on my driveway and about half the sidewalk before having to call it quits and recharge the battery. Fully charged I get somewhere between 25 - 30 minutes per battery, and since it comes with 2 batteries it kind of works out for the schedule I set for myself. It does feel like it takes hours for each one to completely charge, which can be annoying when you're trying to knock something out or hit a specific goal. The battery situation is probably my least favorite part of this deal. My first week with the wacker was a hate/hate relationship, but upon reflection I was trying to tear through some small sprouting maple trees and tall weeds along my fence and garage, and more than once did I mess up the feed line. But the head comes off easy (two small buttons to depress), and once you remove the spool and rewind the line and get it back through the hole, you get back to work pretty easily. Once I figured out the kinks, I'm happy with it's performance. The general upkeep after my initial whack has been easy and fast and it only takes a few minutes to clear my fences and garage and driveway each week. I've now advanced into all of my edging which takes a lot more time with this. It has some power, but it takes multiple go overs to try and chip away at any sense overgrown grass. The blower: So far I love the blower. It handles the grass clippings with ease, the whirlybirds from our neighbors maple tree, deer poop, and even the corn my 5yr old throws all over the driveway for the squirrels. I haven't had to do heavy leaves or really wet grass yet, but so far I think it's the stronger half of this combo. All-In-All: Overall, I'm happy with the purchase. It's a nice little set if you're looking for something to get you started and do a little work, but if you're continuously doing yard work or looking for a big clean up helper, I'd look at a stronger model, or go electric/gas. EDIT: So I've been using this for a year now and it has still held up. I whack after every mow, and no joke - I fought the extremely slow (trickle) charger they sent with this every time. It got real annoying trying to remember if I switched the batteries so the other could charge. Over time I somehow managed to smack the trimmer into sitting at a weird angle, so now when I mow I have to keep it half cocked to the side to get it straight, and then exaggerate it the other way to go up and down. As the primary user I know how it works, but if someone else were to try it they'd probably hate it. Other than that it has held up. My own tips: if you're planning on mowing through some big stuff with it - advance your line so you have a lot of line for whipping. Really helps knock it down and it chews it back down to 'normal' length pretty fast. I also recommend spending a little more on a Black and Decker base charger if you plan on doing a lot of work. I hadn't even thought about one till Amazon suggested one that was on sale, and I cannot believe I played with that annoying supplied charger this long. Spend the extra $25 and get a real charger. Mount it somewhere. Charge your battery in 40 minutes (as opposed to 4 hours) and avoid the headache. Hope to update you next year!

Buy it for the weed eater, consider the blower a bonus electric broom 🧹
I bought this combo about two years ago to replace an older Black+Decker battery trimmer that finally died. I saw this set that included the leaf blower for only a little more money and decided it made sense to upgrade. Overall, I have been very happy with it. It includes two batteries that each last more than 30 minutes in real use, which is more than enough for trimming and edging around my quarter-acre yard. Having a second battery ready to go is great for longer projects. We also have a vacuum that uses the same battery, which is a big plus for compatibility across tools. In total, we have 5-6 batteries and three charger cables. One of the older batteries stopped working (5+ years old), but for the others, I haven't noticed any difference in battery life as they age. The trimmer works well for routine maintenance. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and, for regular driveway and sidewalk edging and weed trimming, it does exactly what it is supposed to. The only downside is the leaf blower. It is more like an electric broom 🧹 than a traditional blower. It works well for clearing a driveway, steps, or a patio where debris is already loose and easy to move. But this is not something you are going to use to clear a full yard of leaves. It does not have that kind of power. 👍 Pros: - Includes two batteries 🔋 - Generally, over 30 minutes per battery - Compatible with other Black+Decker 20V tools - Lightweight and easy to handle - Great value as a combo, think of the leaf blower (sweeper) as a bonus - Blower works particularly well to clean out the garage, 10X faster than using a traditional broom. 👎 Cons: - The leaf blower is light-duty, not suitable for clearing leaves from a yard If you understand that the blower is designed for hard surfaces and light cleanup, this is a very solid combo. For driveway edging, yard trimming, and quick cleanup, the weed eater has been reliable and worth the purchase.

okay for light duty jobs
I knew when I ordered this set that it was not as powerful as many other options, but I wanted tools that were fairly light weight, which these are. The blower has been great so far (I've only used it twice) for the light duty jobs like blowing leaves and grass off my driveway. I am not as happy about the trimmer. I charged the battery fully before I first used it, but it still lasted only 15 minutes. I was just trimming grass along my driveway and sidewalks and by some rock walls. It was not anything that was thick or heavy, but the trimmer batteries drained very quickly. The set has 2 batteries, so I can probably get my entire yard done witnh the 2. Also the cutting area of the trimmer is not very large. My old gas trimmer had a 12 inch cutting diameter. The specs say 10 inch, but it seems to be less than that.

conveinent
This combo is great - have a medium sized yard - was so easy to use - the blower was effective enough to blow off the grass clippings from the sidewalk and the trimmer is so handy and light - nice feature is that you don't have to expel the line - it senses and does it automatically. Love it.

Excelente
El producto funciona muy bien, es liviano y potente. El único detalle es que las baterías duran alrededor de 15 minutos funcionando continuamente y no cuentan con opción de carga rápida. Para jardines pequeños muy recomendado.

Good buy
Happy to have gotten this one on sale. This set is a great pair - trimmer + blower. A few things: - the trimmer does its job for the most part (not great on the thick blades of grass so don't get it if this is your lawn) - the blower is no powerhouse so don't expect it to blow clumps of wet grass; works well enough on the small pinecones - it comes with 2 battery packs which is GREAT since we have other B&D tools (for this alone, it's a great buy for the sale price)

Good home product
I dont usually write reviews, but this product is amazing for HOME use only. The blower is okay, I use it to blow away grass and leaves away from the pool and sidewalk areas. Trimmer works fine for grass. Battery life is good , considering the size of them
