I am very happy with these parallettes, BUT I think they could be sturdier. They are relatively lightweight and very portable, though. I weigh ~140 lbs. I can do dips and L-sits, but it would not be safe to do a press handstand on these bars without somehow weighing down the base. I ordered the 18-inch-high set in order to have my preferred color, but I am glad I did not order the taller option.

What is the height of these bars?

24 3/8 high ,width if looking at side 24 3/8 wide. bottom part that sits on the floor 16 inchs

Do they have any kind of odor, when you first take them out of the box?

Yes. The rubber caps have a strong odor to them as does the thigh exercise strap. I have not yet been able to find a product to remedy the situation.
