I purchased these to re - up my water purification for our shower. Why you ask ? ClearSource makes a water purification system that literally saved our lives during the major flood here in Texas. Designed for an RV I used it in a way typically not thought of. The flood was all over the news. Our lake where we get our water from was totally full of every contaminant known to man. Including dead bodies, fuels, chemicals, medical waste, more. They were telling everyone to boil their water. Our skin as humans is the largest organ in our body. This system which uses these filters was able to give us safe water for drinking and washing our bodies in. The filters last a long time. Worth every penny. I can’t give this company enough credit. No Odor, no heavy metals, no nothing but the best water I’ve ever drank and showered in came out of it. So I’m a customer for life. Don’t cut corners on water. We live full time in our RV (former military, moved cross country, building a house) and of course didn't trust every water source we came across. I used a less expensive 10 inch filter housing from Amazon for $100 or so, and then put these filters in. After 6 months, the rust filter was RED, but the taste difference was immediate. Of course, I don't taste the difference for everything that's being filtered out, but I know these are high quality filters and trust them well. I pre-filter with a cheaper 1 micron inline hose filter and these still catch stuff in the 1 micron filter. They're expensive, but worth it.

These filters work great! We have well water and it can be mud tinged and silty. With these filters, the water is clear. I will say the fine filter (the white one) got clogged bc of our silt and we switched to a yarn filter because the water wasn't running through. Our set up is unique so that might be a rare occurrence. Anyway, our filter housing recently froze and we had to do a temporary fix that bypassed these filters and I am missing them!!

Please add a "subscribe and save" option for these filters. I am full timing in the mountains and these filters do not last longer than a month before they clog and the water pressure is severely impacted. I will need to replace these on a monthly basis er and would greatly appreciate a discount for repeat business every month through subscribe and save. Thank you! Also, while these filters work excellent for showering, they do NOT kill bacteria and water is not safe to drink with these filters alone. To have safe drinking water, you will need to purchase a carbon filter with reverse osmosis, and UV lighting to truly make the water safe for consumption. I have a SIM Pure machine that works excellent for converting water from these filters into drinking water. The easiest way for you to determine whether it is safe or not to drink is to buy a $10 digital TDS meter to test your water with.

I am blown away at how well these filter the water coming into our motorhome. The before and after pictures will definitely gross you out thinking about the possibility of using the water for anything without using these filters. The water is clear, tastes great, and does not have any smell. They fit perfectly in the custom box I built for the motorhome. They are made well and have held up throughout our travels.
