This book has become one my favs. It’s been on my shelf for two months and I had no expectations. A couple of chapters in and I am hooked!! Why haven’t I read this sooner!? Looking for peace and running away from the memories of a horrible night, Bree arrives in a small town in Maine. She meets Archer Hale an isolated man with a tragic past. This is a story of freedom, healing and love. I love a book that’s creatively written, makes me fall in love with the story more. I like to learn the backstory of the characters as the story unfolds and not at the beginning and I love an emotional roller coaster of swooning, anger, sadness, happiness, with a sense of humor. This book delivers! It’s beautifully divided between the characters and now and then. The pace is perfect and it doesn’t drag. Love the extra scene and epilogue; I wasn’t ready to let go of Archer and Bree.

The book came in a good condition it was a little dirty tho but I just cleaned it. The plot was sooo good and I really loved the characters. I highly recommend reading the book if you’re looking for a romance book. I’m not sure if the book contains sensitive topics but you can check the content warning
