Good coverage and long lasting

This is it. This is the one you want. As someone who fosters a healthy obsession for makeup, I don't say this lightly. So what makes this particular product so spectacular? So many reasons, but I am going to limit this review to my 3 favorite ones. 1. This is the most recent obvious one, but the price point is clearly fantastic. Mascara is perhaps the most important product in my daily beauty routine, and over the years I have spent money on expensive brands like Dior and Benefit. But at upwards of $20 a bottle, I never felt like these products were paying off. This Maybelline formula is drugstore priced, but high-end quality. This means that you can afford to get a new bottle every month or two to keep your mascara look fresh without breaking the bank. The fact that this product is $6 is absolutely ridiculous- I wish I had been buying it years ago!! 2. I love the application wand. It is curved at the end, which gives your lashes a lot of curve, ideal for people who like to skip the eyelash curler in the morning. The shape also makes it perfect for really getting into those small spaces and curves of your lash line that are sometimes missed with a straight wand. 3. The formula is, in a word... DREAMY. It is black- the kind of true black that creates such drama and intensity in the lashes. It goes on easily- a few swipes of the wand and your lashes, like the name claims, WILL look almost like falsies. It costs the lashes without feeling thick or heavy, and it is shockingly hard to create clumps (with the amount of volume you get with this product, you would expect MUCH more clumping). I like to use the curved end of the wand to tease out the ends of my lashes to create a beautiful fringe look. The length is like nothing I have ever experienced with other mascara brands- when I use this, my eyelashes LITERALLY brush my browbone... It's amazing. These are just a few reasons to buy this product, but from one makeup aficionado to the next, GET THIS MASCARA. Every SINGLE time I wear it, I get endless compliment on my eyelashes, and at least one person asks me what mascara I use. Every day. That is just the kind of product this is. So, do yourself a favor and buy this, you won't regret it :) *in the picture, I am wearing no makeup other than this mascara. I did not use an eyelash curler and only did a light coat, and THAT is the result... It's amazing <3

Great product. Lengthening and volumizing

Really great for making lash look long but doesn’t make lashes look full. Little pieces flake off periodically throughout the day.

I’m shook ! Makes my lashes look so full and bold , no flaking or smudging throughout all day yet it washes off so easy! Don’t buy another mascara this is the ONE !

I ordered this routinely. It is my go to mascara. I like the ease of application and the bristles of the brush being natural, not plastic

I love this mascara, but only for like a week. After about a week, it's like the product is old and clumps, with it being very difficult and time consuming to separate the lashes. I wish the quality lasted longer.

Finally found a mascara I love. The brush is slightly curved. The product is not dried up and my lashes look great.

It’s really easy to clean off, and for a non-waterproof mascara, it stays on pretty good as long as you don’t over do it and it starts to flake then. Recommended!

Il fait des paquets sur les cils, trop pâteux à mon gout, la brosse néanmoins n'est pas mal. Ne dure pas très longtemps non plus

O rímel cumpre o que promete, os cílios ficam alongados e destacados, dura o dia todo e ao mesmo tempo é fácil de remover. O aplicador é mole e da a sensação que vai quebrar mas até agora tem durado

This is still the best mascara I’ve used and it’s so inexpensive. Great for length and volume. No clumps. Better than really expensive mascara and looks like false eyelashes.

I'm in my 50s, used to have long thick lashes that have since become sparse. I've used different mascaras over the years, and Maybelline Falsies has always come through for me. It lengthens, thickens without clumps and stays on all day. No flaking or smudging. No irritation. It removes easily using facial cleanser or soap and water. Admittedly, the "new" spoon brush takes time getting used to, but once you have that mastered, you will have beautiful thick full lashes. My mother said it looked like I had false lashes :) It's well worth trying for the price if you're looking for a great volumizing mascara.
