The candles look really cool and are perfect for a Halloween themed room. They came with a remote that was super flimsy and cheap and was broken. I didn’t buy this for the remote function so it didn’t care but that’s the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

My favorite flameless candle! Our reception venue did not allow real candles. We ordered MANY flameless candles to try. These were, hands down, the best. The outside is wax, so they look real. The "flame" is recessed, so there is no corny "fire" sticking up. The remote control allows you to control brightness and flicker. They really are amazing. Since they come in three heights, you can arrange a very pretty groupings. We mixed these with greens and florals as well as LETINE gold votive candle holders filled with flameless tea lights. The effect was a warm flickering glow throughout the room.

I have purchased 3 sets now. It's candle overload at my place. They really look real. They immediately soften the look of a room. The flame flickers which gives it that real candle look. It does make a quiet click sound as the plastic flame flickers. I don't notice it.

I bought the set of 3 bark candles. I thought they would be great for autumn/winter decorating. I was worried they would look cheesy or that they might be too dark because the "bark" base is brown, but I was really impressed. I have other flameless candles and they are not all created equal. These are very nice because the "flame" doesn't just move back and forth or isn't a stationary "flame" with a light projecting onto it, it actually moves randomly in all directions and it makes no noise while moving. In a dim/dark room you would swear the flame is real. The remote has settings for 2/4/6/8 hours on, brightness and a candle/light setting, which controls the glow in the base of the candle. My only complaint with these is that the "candle" setting looks very fake with jerky robotic flickers. Set it on "light" and the candle looks very realistic with a flickering flame in a dim room.
