Is this ball smaller than a peewee football?

Can’t say but it’s perfect size your my grandkids ages 8 and 10. The play with it much more than the larger balls! Hope this helps.

I can't answer why it is made in China...except isn't just about everything... I can say this is not the official 100th anniversary gold football. Those were much more expensive & completely sold out everywhere we looked. The official 100th anniversary gold football had a smooth surface... this one has a football typical skin. But my young person that had his heart set on possessing the official 100th anniversary gold football the instant he saw it (but unfortunately didn't get one at the time he saw it & it was not an option to be found after that) is thrilled with this football & is the envy of all his friends.

Great to look at, not so much to throw around

There is no grip to this football. It has a smooth surface that's slippery. Hard to get a grip well enough to throw a spiral and even harder to catch. If you're going to get it for appearances, might be worth it- but for that reason alone.

Ultimate product for a football enthusiast!

First one was never picked up by Canada post, but Amazon right away was aware and resent a replacement, and came exact day. Gorgeous ball, great quality, got as a gift for the NFL ball display purchased. Haven't open display yet, but I think the gold will look beautiful inside!!
