This is a really good rare earth magnet. It can pretty much pick up a bicycle with no problem. Great for picking up stuff from the bottom of a lake or canal.

if you stick this to a fridge or piece of sheet metal its easy to pull off. if you stick it to a thick steel plate be careful as it is very hard to remove. i cracked the magnet trying to get it off a heavy steel plate

This magnet is good for maybe 50 lbs, definitely not 500 lbs. For 10% of the advertised value it should be half a star out of 5, but apparently 1 star is the minimum.
