Works great. Wiring was clear and easy to do. I was looking for something that would allow me to control the light on a wall dimmer, but control the fan with a remote. It works great for that. I simply ignore the light wire and use only the fan ones, then I tucked the fan’s chains into the fan so I effectively have a chainless fan that supports a wall switch and dimmer for the light. All the remote-included fans you buy don’t support controlling the light separately. This allows me to do that. So, I can turn on the light when I enter the room and don’t have to find the remote to do so. Glad to find this product.

It worked like the original. Oddly, it had a louder click when it turned on the fan. Unfortunately, I bought it in the hopes that it'd solve the problem I was having with the light not working, and the issue is apparently somewhere in the lighting circuit after the remote slave.

Easy to install and use. My only complaint is that the light dimmer function doesn’t work with LED bulbs. It says that in the amazon link and in the instructions but I missed that. That should be put in big bold letters! For me the workaround was to replace my fan’s bulb with a normal bulb because I want to be able to dim the light. With an LED bulb, the light button on the remote will only turn the light on or off

Kichler Ceiling Fan Replacement. Day 5 of installation and it works great. Most difficult part is installing the receiver into the fan housing, true for any ceiling fan.

This worked on my home decor altura fan I had never had a remote. The electrician made quick work of the install, color matches my home, connected the moment I pressed the button (what a relief) Excited to use in these upcoming summer days.

Working great. I bought hunter fans with remote controls. The remotes died every 6 months and ate expensive batteries. These seem to be doing great. After a year still on first batteries and still working on all functions. Just as a note, you do have to take the fan down to install the unit.

Like so many other 1 star reviews, soon after installing it kind of did its own thing, randomly turning on the lights. In the first few months it was only maybe once a week, but now after one year, it is doing it 4 or 5 times a day. The worst is at night waking us multiple times. So today, i uninstalled it and throwing it away. Nice idea, but poor product. I do not recommend unless you want more reasons to get up in the middle of the night.
