Does it really kill the mold and get rid of the spores? or does it just clean the walls?

Accepted Answer

This product is called a 'stain remover'. Does it kill mold or simply change the visibility? Hoping for more definitive answers.

Question 2

Would this be safe to use on a parts of a painted cinder block wall in the basement (on several areas caused by a heavy rain storm many years ago)?

Accepted Answer

I used this on painted cement slab around the edges which had been painted.  I also used it on unpainted cement steps and it worked well.  I would try a small space to see if it fades the paint.  I have used it on our vinyl awning on our camper, on the aluminium gutters and sofits of the house, on the vinyl siding and on vinyl storm doors.  I have also used it on the vinyl tire covers for our camper.  I usually just test a small area to make sure it does not harm it before doing the whole job.  I must say, for me at least, this is the best product I have used to clean off mold.  Oh, I also sprayed it down the sink and shower drains in my bathroom and it worked well.

Can this be used on bedroom walls?

Hi -- I've only used this product in our shower on tile and grout.  If you have black mold on a bedroom wall, why not try it on a small place and see what happens.  It may take the paint off and you don't want that to happen unless absolutely necessary -- leaving you to re-paint. I love this product.  Good luck to you.

Can this product be safely used on finished wood - windows?

Not sure.  It works great on shower tile grout and boat seats and all boat equipment.  I have never tried it on wood.  If the wood has a good layer of paint or varnish, I don't see why it would not.  I would certainly test it before I used it extensively though.   I have used it and it is a very good product.
