I have been taking Nature's Bounty Zinc 50mg supplement for years, and this is the brand I buy on repeat because I've been so happy with it. I originally started taking zinc for general wellness and immune support, and I honestly don't get sick very often. I can't say that zinc is the reason, but I've been taking it consistently for years, and I rarely get colds or other common illnesses. Another benefit I've personally noticed is with my Botox. I had read that zinc may prolong the effects of treatment, and I was curious. For me, I really do feel my Botox lasts longer than it used to. I would estimate that it extends treatments an extra month or so before I need more Botox. I can't say for certain zinc is responsible, but it is something I've noticed in the last few years.
