Where can I get resin and what do I buy?

Lots of places sell it in raw form which is by far the cheapest way to go as "the stuff ain't cheap"! Do an internet search for DI resin and you'll find several vendors. Some sell a whole cubic foot and it's $200-300 or so and will refill this kit numerous times, probably more than you need so look for a deal on like 1/4 or 1/2 cubic foot which should hold you for a couple years. You'll need the "mixed bed resin".

filtered pressure very low, removed regulator and better now, is that ok? plus I believe inlet fitting bad cause cannot stop the leak?

The Spot Free Car Rinse works because the mixed bed resin removes the Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in the water. TDS is things like calcium, that leaves spots when the water dries. For the resin to remove the TDS, the water must flow slow through the resin. If you remove the Flow Regulator, the resin will not absorb all of the TDS and you will still have spots on your vehicle. You need to keep the Flow Regulator installed. Regarding the leak, do you mean where your garden hose attaches to the unit? If so, we suggest trying some Teflon tape to stop any water from leaking.

Does the water flow through the cartridges simultaneously or in series?

The water flows through the cartridges in series to allow more time for the water to interact with the mixed bed resin.

Can this be used as a hard water filter for my dishwasher?

No. Use an inline water filter for a refrigerator ice maker for that purpose.

Amazing spot free rinse

Bought this for work as it seems our water suddenly has been leaving a lot of residue on our vehicles. Got this set it up and first time I used it I noticed an amazing difference! No more water stains any left over water marks are easily wiped away all in all a great purchase and I’m very happy with it!

What an incredible piece of garbage!

The output fitting is cheap plastic and doesn't seal properly, I can't get it to stop leaking. It may well leave my cars spot free but it's going to take some McGivering to get it to work properly!

Super Excellent product!! Just remember that you have to be a very patient because of the flow it’s on the slower side however the results are spectacular at a very reasonable price!!

I use it and it works great, make sure to buy the filters regularly and you'll have a great filter system. I also use a prefilter (like an rv one) for extra filtering.
