Very effective and good for back pain too!
We used in Finland for skiing in up to -20 degrees. Advice is let them Warm up for a few minutes and place on top of toes. They wear off when starved of oxygen inside ski boots after a few hours but they made it possible to ski! Also I have a bad back and found they’re MUCH better for that than the v expensive thermaheat back patches so I will continue to use on my lower back too!

Goods not as described
I ordered a box of "HotHands ToastieToes" toe warmers made by a company called HeatMax as depicted in the photograph on this item. When the item arrived from the USA it contained sachets of "Heat Factory footwarmers". They do not appear to be a product made by HeatMax I haven't yet tried using any of these but they are NOT what was ordered.

Not as advertised
These were adverised as HeatMax Toastie Toes with adhesive that can be stuck to your sock. When they arrived they were branded HEAT factory FOOTWARMER, did not have adhesive & are quite 'bulky' to fit underfoot and moved about in my boots. I did not have time to return them before they were needed so made do but was disappointed. Also the warmth did not seem to last as long as the Toastie Toe branded ones I have used previously.

I'm not sure if my feet would survive winter without these! They are comfortable to wear and warm feet helps keep your body warm as well.

It’s really useful for people who are not used to extreme cold weather. We used this during travels. I don’t recommend this for kids as it gets hot sometimes.

We started using these toe warmers for our kids during ski season, and they’ve made a noticeable difference in comfort on the mountain. Performance in Ski Boots: Ski boots don’t allow much movement, and once toes get cold, the day can go downhill fast. These warmers help maintain steady warmth without overheating. After a few minutes of air activation, they begin producing consistent heat. Even in cold conditions, they typically last most of the ski day (around 6 hours for us). The warmth is gentle and even — enough to prevent that numb, painful feeling kids sometimes get on chairlifts. Fit & Comfort: They’re thin enough that they don’t create pressure points inside properly fitted ski boots. The adhesive backing keeps them from sliding around, which is important when kids are active. What Parents Should Know: They need some airflow to work properly, so don’t seal them in airtight containers before use. Activate them before putting boots on. These are single-use, so we reserve them for colder days rather than every trip. Overall: For ski families, these are an easy, affordable way to prevent cold toes from cutting the day short. They’re not a replacement for good socks and well-fitted boots, but they’re a great backup layer of warmth when temperatures drop.
