Do they sell just a single 8gb memory? only need one 8 gb from sk hynix

I couldn't find a single 8GB memory stick of this type, I ended up two sticks. I will keep one as a spare.

Yes. As long as your processor can use 16GB of ram or more, this motherboard works. If you are installing more ram sticks, make sure they are non EEC, DDR3 and the same speed as differences in speed will result to the faster one being underclockes
