Body wash is not needed
I didnโt see any difference between using the lotion alone and using the lotion with the body wash. So I wonโt recommend buying the kit. Just buy the lotion, itโs effective enough. My bumps are gone and skin became softer after finishing one bottle of this lotion.

"Pharmacist" Recommended KP treatment
First, I want to apologize for the long review, but if you're serious about getting your KP under control in a quick, effective, reasonably sound and safe way then please read on. This product is terrific for anyone who hasn't seen any improvement in their KP with over the counter products that you can buy in your local pharmacy. This product should be used with care. It is NOT considered an over the counter product by the FDA due to its Glycolic acid concentration (>10%) & dual lack of sunscreen. If you're just beginning to treat your KP try some of the OTC products as they may provide sufficient exfoliation for your skin. If like me, you've been there, done that, and have the (long-sleeve) t-shirt to prove it, then this is a great option. Do not use on top of any topically applied prescription agents without consulting your pharmacist or physician. Ok now the review, first a few things... All products containing AHAs (ie. lactic acid and glycolic acid) should be used with sunscreens even for darker tones that aren't prone to sunburns. The increased exfoliation this causes makes your skin susceptible to UV damage which can be as mild as a sunburn or as severe as skin cancer. Don't take your chances. Because these products increase your sensitivity to the sun use them with caution if you're already taking medications that do that as well, such as a diuretic for blood pressure or certain antibiotics... again if you're unsure call your pharmacist or doctor. As for the product itself. The body wash: I was concerned that the body was would have an unpleasant smell, but it has a nice "clean" smell that is decent enough for either males or females. Although its concentration is medical grade, a little word of advice from someone with a bit of training. Many may not find any benefit from the body wash alone. The reason for this is because the active ingredient doesn't stay on our skin long enough to produce any effect. Totally makes sense because we're WASHING it off. To get some benefit from this wash, using your hands, lather your affected areas up and DON'T RINSE. Let the body wash sit on your skin as you do your best to wash your non-kp areas with your regular soap, or wash your face, or... whatever it is you do in the shower. Once you've done that, now that the glycolic acid had time (though still minimal) to absorb into your skin, using your luffa add some physical exfoliation to your KP areas. Personally, I'm not convinced I'll buy the body wash again, but I wanted to try it out anyways despite what I already knew about "medical" body washes. The "lotion": The lotion is more of a cream then a lotion, in my opinion, and is fairly thick. But this is a good thing since creams tend to work better than lotions in all things dermatological. It lacks in smell, which I appreciate. I use this immediately after the shower. While still in the bathroom (because the extra humidity from the shower works in your favor) I towel off just enough to remove excess water, but not enough to completely dry my skin. I then apply the lotion ONLY to my KP areas and I completely rub the lotion into my skin. (For my non KP areas I use their other, less-concentrated, glycolic acid lotion, only because it makes my skin baby soft). Afterwards I will put on pajama pants and a long sleeve shirt that are a little snuggly and covers my KP areas. This just allow less drying of the skin and less evaporation of the lotion, thus allowing more absorption of the glycolic acid into the skin. Overall using this regimen I literally saw a significant decrease in roughness within 2-3 days and complete smoothness in some areas within a week. Other areas are still are a little bumpy but aren't bothersome enough for me to be dissatisfied. Other pointers: I only use this lotion after my showers at night. In the morning, I prefer their other, less concentrated, glycolic acid lotion because it's co-formulated with sunscreen and the reduced concentration reduces your chances of skin irritation while having the added benefit of gentle exfoliation regular lotion does not give. If this doesn't work for you, try their elbow and foot cream . Start off slow because the concentration AND the fact that its a cream can easily cause irritation. I would probably limit the cream to once every 2 weeks or once every week and eventually taper down to just the lotion once your KP is under control. Price changes
Using this for some skin trouble works well if used consistently Wonder why every time I purchase it the price goes up considerable? I will be looking elsewhere.

Second time I have ordered this stuff and it totally works. I have never found any product other than this that takes away my red bumpy arms.

Immediately shows a difference if used properly
I saw an immediate difference after the second time. Skin felt much smoother than before. I little drying so skin looked a little flaky, but softer and smoother. With continued use everyday you should notice a dramatic difference. For some reason, it worked better on my legs than on the back of my arms where I primarily am focusing on. My skin tends to feel a little itchy time to time from the dryness but I can't complain to much since I see less bumps. The bumps dramatically flatten out. You end up feeling no bumps at all after about seven to ten days of continued use. The down side is the following: it's kind of pricey, drying, and must be used continuously. Skip one day and you're pretty screwed. I'm not one to stick to things too long. The longest I've used it was for twenty days in a row. I've purchased this for several friends with minor to major keratosis and it's worked wonderfully for all of them. The ones with skin that's not too bad didn't need to used it as often once skin cleared. So jealous, theirs cleared pretty much 100%. They just use it every other or every few days to maintain it. I know it works much better if you use the glytone lotion right after you get out of the shower while you skin is still softer and able to absorb it. Without the lotion it does still work just not as quickly. The other downside for my case is that I can still see the dark spots. Can't feel them and they aren't pink or red but I can see them. Lighter purple to brown like freckles. Does clear up a lot though. Especially closer to the inner part of the arm. Try it out.
