I won’t go into detail, but the customer service from OFIKA is amazing you guys 😭 . I had an issue, (was NOT their fault. It was the delivery service,) and basically they went above and beyond for me! Kept me updated, and kept conversation going. Most importantly, they have a new forever customer. I will never buy chairs from ANYONE else. So if you’re interested in getting this chair, GET IT. Not only that, my SON loves his chair. He rocks pretty roughly while on his computer and he has already broken 3 chairs. This one is staying solid as heck! And it’s soft and has great padding. The recline on it is amazing. Always good to have history. It's 2009. New computer desks, file cabinets and office chairs. Today August 2022, same computer desks and file cabinets for home office.We use the 5th bedroom as an office. In 2009 we purchased low end $99.00 each (foolisly) office chairs. Try as we did, could not destroy those inexpensive vinyl chairs. In late 2017 the chairs were getting tired. Maybe we were also. We purchased on sale (2) La-Z-Boy leather computer chairs in January 2018 at $199.99. Thought they would last for many, many years. Hate to say the leather was so worn out when using these chairs max 2 hours per day in 4 1/2 years was very disheartning. What to do? Purchase 2 leather computer chairs however inexpensively. We came across these chairs however the reviews were terrible. What to do? Purchase them and if the reviewers are correct, send them back. Well the following may be of value to folks looking for good looking, easy to assemble, leather chairs. These may fit the need. About 75 minutes to assemble both chairs. The rolling of the chairs, we have plexiglass runners under the chairs over an area rug on wood floors, no problems rolling. Pistons no issues, chairs hold position. We are probably average heights and weights. She 5'9" 170 lbs, me 5'11" 205 lbs. Only issue may be the installation tool provided. Gets the job done however we dropped it at least a 1/2 dozen times. Lastly, we chose brown to match desks and file cabinets. Various colors available. So far these are a tad harder than the La-Z Boys however we think with our use they will probably outlast the La-Z-Boys.

I decided that I wanted to change up where & how I use my laptop. I bought a rolling table meant for use while in bed & this chair so I can wheel them wherever I feel like using my machine. It works for whether I want to get on it in front of our balcony door to watch the birds while listening to a podcast, next to my hubby's desk so we can share things we're exploring online or to take it into my daughter's room to watch a film with her on it; Brilliant if I do say so myself! My husband assembled this chair for me but it gave him a little grief. First, it's a little fiddly getting everything aligned to screw everything together. The instructions are simple & so is the task itself but it'd probably be easier for 2 people to assemble it than one. Second, some of the screws are unnecessarily long & the alen wrench it came with was made out of really soft steel so by the end of the assembly the chewed up alen wrench was messing up the screws due to slippage. My first impressions were as follows. At a glance it looks like a decent computer chair. Beyond that cursory inspection though, you can absolutely tell that this is something purchased on a shoestring budget. The casters, chair base & arms are all entirely made up of plastic. (Minus the arm/side section cushion pads, of course.) The piston that supports the seat is heavy steel & seems pretty firm. Still, I somehow doubt the validity of a 400 Lb person using this chair. I don't anticipate any 400 Lb people sitting in mine so it should be fine? My husband jokes that I have an (a word that rhymes with bass) of mass destruction. I can't really argue with him on that though since I can't count all of the chairs my behind has sent to the landfill or scrap heap on one hand! There are four padded components. One for each arm/side section of the chair, the seat & back. They're firm, so if you like that kind of thing, it'll be great for you. However if you plan to spend more time in the chair you might want to add a folded blanket under your tush & maybe drape a thick quilt over the back & arms. As for the functional components though, the casters roll great both on short carpet & on paneled floors. It is easy to adjust the height; Though I haven't had to change it since I set it to the lowest it will go. That's the perfect height for my feet to be planted flat on the floor. (I'm 5'3") I also have the reclining setting left at the stiffest it can be so it won't let me lean back. Due to my height, although it lacks purposeful support for the neck, it's perfect for me. It wouldn't work for my husband at 5'9" let alone our 6' son though. There are other chairs available on Amazon that offer purposeful neck support. If you want a "decent" office chair, don't plan to spend long periods of time in it & just need something basic though, this is the chair for you! If you're on a budget, you can make it work too, as I suggested above. However, if you want something that doesn't look too cheap, maybe is obviously more sturdy & plan to spend long hours in a chair? Maybe pick up something ... "more" here on Amazon or elsewhere.

One star-reviews are accurate. Not sure how I missed them before buying this poorly constructed chair. I think since I needed a replacement I only looked at the pictures of it. You do get what you pay for, its not a good chair. The assembly process was easy enough but the piston rod didn't function properly and when sitting in the chair it leaned to the right side. I thought maybe I put it together wrong. I double checked what I screwed in and everything was screwed in correct and tight and nothing was loose, but the chair was still leaning and when you moved around it creaked and felt like it was going to fall apart. The fake leather in the arm rests were thin and flimsy and seemed like they would burst at the seams. Overall it just felt cheaply made and poor quality. The back cushion of the chair was poking me between the shoulder blades and was just totally uncomfortable. When I requested to return it I couldn't get the defective piston rod to come loose from the base so I would need two boxes to return it. The seller said if the item wasn't damaged he would charge me $30 for the return. It was defective. There should be no charge. Since the base and piston were connected I needed a separate box. The seller never provided another shipping label for the second box when asked. I had to file an A-Z refund claim with Amazon to get my money back. Thank you Amazon. Based on all the other negative reviews, this chair should not be sold on Amazon. Probably the worst quality product I've ever bought. READ THE REVIEWS and decided for yourself. If the seller doesn't provide a second label to ship it back (or the option to take it to an Amazon return location), then I'm taking this to the trash dump where it belongs.

My old office chair was literally falling apart so I needed a replacement. After reading reviews I decided on this one. My daughter is a large gal and I needed something that was a bit sturdier. This chair was advertised as being "heavy duty" and accommodating up to 400 lbs. I highly doubt someone 400 lbs. could use this chair and it far too narrow for a heavier person. I have had the chair for about a month and here are some of my thoughts: Pros: Stylish good looks: The leather is attractive and it looks like a much more expensive chair. Easy Assembly: It took me only a short time to assemble it and the instructions were easy to follow. Comfort: The seat and back are reasonably comfortable. Cons: The wheels are awful. They lock up and I end up just scooting the chair across the floor mat. It would be impossible to maneuver the chair on even the lowest pile carpeting. It does not recline to 110° in rocking mode as advertised. It is very tightly sprung and takes a lot of effort to tilt back. This may loosen up with time. In all fairness, I have not yet contacted the company regarding the wheels, but do plan to do so. It is too much of a pain to return the chair after having assembled it, so I plan to keep it, but if I had tried it in a store I would never have purchased it.

Updated as of 3/26/03: 5 Stars The companys customer service department who builds/sell the chair here on AMZN reached out to me. The listened to me, they were extremely professional and prompt and resolved my issue with the chair satisfactorily. I was again impressed that they reached out and spoke to me about it...made it right. Because of that, I'm changing the rating from three stars to five stars. Being that they resolved my concerns FAST, I'd highley recommend this chair and I will be buying another in the next 90 days as First Review: 3 Stars It's an Ok Chair to buy for an office or general usage. I'm disappointed because two of the bolt holes in the chair weren't drilled corrected..wouldn't grab and tighten. Both were on the back of the chair. Yes it's a cheap chair but even in this day and age, these companies lack of quality is amazing. Foam padding is decent - expectation - nothing over the top - normal characteristics. It was easy to put together and hey supplied all the parts needed. Instructions were easy to read and understand. That's a huge plus. It says it'll take 400lbs but I doubt it - sitting on it was a little nerve racking at first and I made all the adjustments prior to sitting in it. Those two screws and the alignment are what keep me from giving this 5 stars even for a cheapy. I hope it last 6 months. I'll update in that time frame. Good luck all.

first off, fast FED GROUND delivery... also height of seat to 21 3/4 is excellent for longer leg users, two great observations in the purchase. fed ex ground delivered a dusty box and other items to farm on dusty hot road... was expected .... not a normal day... smaller box, chair is in there...opened box in center of room and ready for assembly... i have put chairs together before for the various computer tables.. assembled with viewing picture instructions... inventory was on par with one extra screw lag for short and long grommets...Allen wrench is big L shaped and quite handy .. assembled in 15 minutes..wheels went on the best ... must be firm with seat screws as one seamed stripped and then gripped... one chair rest is lose , but with some lock tight, will grip... for a rated Big and tall chair, seat height is there, actuator is easily controlled, arm rest are nicely padded, but short... 34 inch arms here, so rests need to be 3 to 4 inches longer..seat is hard and with 24 hrs seating, already depressing.... so you will lose your leg height to floor from seat...i am 220 clothes on ..chair rated to 400 pounds.... it can make chair less stable, so no rough housing in chair .... for a foam, the seat is quite hard.... not an 8 hr chair, although i thought was rated for longer seating... this is a smaller chair for a Big and Tall executive, not really a Big Tall man's chair... i am over 6 ' 2 and shoulders or at top of back.. high back seems 46 inches though..no real head rest.. shoulder rest there though, but don't snap your neck back stretching.... repeating good things... great Allen wrench, SOFT ARM RESTS, excellent HARD BASE with WHEELS, and seat height will equal 21 inches give or take seat depression, incredible fast fed ex ground shipping......now the BAD, not so comfortable, tiny tall executive chair, screws can easily strip so be positive on the attaching to grommet and aligning up, and the worse for last, THERE WAS A TEAR IN THE BACK CUSHION ON TOP EDGE OF CHAIR.. probably happened in packing or on assembly line... very thin material... after assembly, so tough to return in boxing up again.... i am thinking lock tight on my screw and gorilla tape on my tear.. i would return if easy to box up !!! it was only a 130 purchase with the coupon discount.. be well , be safe... UPDATE: company refunded price of chair. AMAZING....
