I purchased 2 of these gates for my bloodhound. They are tall, which is great, and the door is large enough for me to pass through without any difficulty. They are sturdy, however, bloodhounds are a bit sneaky when left alone and she was able to push the gate down one time. She hasn't done it since as she is becoming accustomed to the gates. If you have a strong dog, I would recommend securing the gates to the door frame (hence the 4 stars on sturdiness) and it would work fine. Definitely recommend these gates.

We have a Border Collie that spends his nights in our laundry. We considered getting a Dutch split door, but this option was much more practical and considerably cheaper! The pet gate took about 10 minutes to install, including the minor assembly – an Allen key is provided – with the final product being very sturdy. The gate is large enough for both my wife and me to enter the laundry. We did not require the extra width extension (included with the gate) for our laundry doorway. Our dog is much happier that he can see us rather than having a solid door separating him from the rest of the household.

Love the gate. We use it to keep big dog out of the kitchen but the little one can still go under to eat his food. Tension is good. Retraction is tight, don’t let go or you will have a hole in your wall. Definitely recommend.

Avevamo paura che con il sistema a molle il cancello non sarebbe stato sufficientemente stabile invece lo e'! E' stato facile anche montarlo: lo abbiamo messo in un corridoio con mura parallele dunque non abbiamo avuto problemi. Noi lo abbiamo preso per tenere separate due coniglie che devono ancora fare amicizia, e per chi avesse questa necessita'......, una coniglia giovane passa tra le maglie del cancello quindi suppongo anche un gattino. Abbiamo dovuto mettere una retina di ferro e il problema e'stato risolto. Lo consiglio.
