Is it compatible with Raspberry Pi 3?

Yes, all of hardwares used to raspi2 are compatible with raspi 3. I have bought a pi3 and I am use the pi sense on it.

Hi, the Sense HAT (AstroPi) is compatible with A+, B+ and Pi 2 boards.

Why i am getting "waring:root:failed to initialise tcs34725 colour sensor. (sensor not present)"?

Try reversing the sensor connection at the pins. Pull the sensor off the pins, rotate it 180 degrees then re-attach it.

Does this have a gps module?

No it does not. You can do relative positioning based on the sensors. But you cannot get longitude, latitude nor latitude from GPS satellites.
