LOVE these .... really!
I LOVE these things! OK, second purchase. Bought two on a sale and loved them so much I bought these three! IF you are just looking - they push onto the standard 9-volt battery and have a switch for high - off - low. Simple. Works. Bright! The battery CAN get hot during use. They do not clip onto anything, no magnet to attach while working, no gimmicks or fun things or extras - just an emergency flashlight with great power and ease of use. FYI - I am not sure if they would be very good in a "water" situation unless you find a way to rubberize the point where the light meets the battery - shouldn't be hard, though! Also, watch the heat. I THINK these might be useful if you are storing 9-volt batteries loose in draw - a very VERY dangerous thing and these would cap them to make them safer.

Best value out there for cheap durable lights.
Iโve bought three three-packs of these nifty little lights, and I love them. I was first made aware of these as backpacking lights, and they excel in that usage because theyโre lightweight, sturdy, and seem to last forever. You wouldnโt think theyโd put out much light, but in the dark of a campsite, trail, or dark house, theyโre way more than adequate, blinding even if shined directly in the eyes. I once walked four miles down a dangerous desert mountain trail after dark by the light of one of these, and it never flickered or faltered. I keep finding more uses for them. I keep one on my nightstand for night time trips to the bathroom without disturbing my sleeping wife. I keep one or two in each of my vehicles, and I once changed a tire in the dark using this light held between my teeth to do it. I keep one in every room of my house for light when the power goes off, as it often does out here in ranch country. We just turn them on and stand them up on the battery and light up the house. I like this particular brand out of all the brands Iโve tried because the switch is sturdy and firm and wonโt turn on in a pocket or a purse and drain the battery, but the most amazing thing about these lights when snapped onto a 9v battery is the longevity.of their light. I honestly donโt know how long theyโd shine if just left on, but judging by how long they last in normal usage, which is literally years on one battery, Iโd have to guess that theyโd last days if not weeks just left on. Its quite an ingenious and amazing little invention, and this particular offer from Amazon are the best Iโve found. They snap onto a 9v battery tight and stay on and the switch is strong and reliable. In lesser brands, those are the only two weaknesses Iโve found, brands that donโt fit tightly to the battery and have weak and easily engaged switches that turn on accidentally. This brand solves those problems. Excellent product and great emergency light.Iโm even still using one of these that I got bacon grease on while camping. My dog stole it off my chair and chewed on it until she broke the plastic case. By the time I caught her, the back side of the.case was cracked and part of it was lost, exposing the inner electronics. I thought it was ruined, but the switch still worked and the light came on, so I wrapped the case in electrical tape and threw it in the console of my truck. That was three years ago, and the light is still working, as is the battery, and itโs one of my two truck lights. Talk about resilience and reliability. These things are nearly bulletproof.

Nice little pocket light
They put out plenty of light for what they are. About what I expected. It would take 6 AAA's to get the voltage of one 9V...and the higher voltage equals lower amp draw...which increases runtime. How small this is compared to 6 AAA's in a series holder is what this thing is all about...and it works great in this sense. A compact, long lasting light source. The fact that they will sit upright on their own or can be held in your mouth easily while leaving both hands free to work are big pluses. I put one in the passenger compartment of both my cars for quick access to an emergency light. My main complaint is that I went to try one of my lights on a different battery and the contact broke off. Still works if I press it down and tape it real well...but it's not something I would trust as an emergency item. Which brings me to my other complaint...price. Wouldn't be such a bummer...but these aren't necessarily cheap and I now have 2 for the price of 3. Makes it kind of a toss-up between getting more of these or a single AAA aluminum bodied flashlight.

It's a great little light
A very handy and inexpensive way to keep a decent light anywhere that's needed. In your pocket, your night stand, next to your desk. Just a 9V battery that plugs right into this tiny light. If you use it as an occasional light, it'll probably last a year on one battery. THe one on my night stand gets used every night, but just for a minute or so.

Excellent purchase. Would buy again.
These little lights are awesome! They are bright, powerful, and light weight. Just need to attach a 9 volt and voila! It's perfect for emergencies or if you just need a handy light in your pocket. It's really versatile. I used to use these things in the military. I would definitely recommend these. Excellent purchase.

Exactly what I wanted
This is the top part of a flashlight that sits on a 9 volt battery. You provide the battery. Iโd purchased 4 units from another company that had both the top part and a battery- the other companies product had 3 of the 4 units not work- I returned them . When you clip these on a 9 volt battery, they work perfectly. I just went through security at Auckland airport, and my bag was searched because of this flashlight- when they saw what it was- he exclaimed- what a wonderful flashlight and of course passed me through. It is so small it fits in a purse or pocket and is very bright. Very happy with my purchase!

Most useful flashlights you can have
I love these little 9V flashlights - they can take a 9V battery from a smoke detector and seem to work endlessly. Perfect for just keeping throughout the house for anytime you need a bright flashlight. I use these for working around the house, taking the dog for a walk after dark, hiking, keeping in the cars for use there, etc. I have about 6 of these total and never had one fail. I also purchased a couple of 9V rechargeable batteries and those work well with these lights. Just get the ones with a USB port on the bottom of the battery, then you can add tape where this light and the battery connect, and then you have a durable, light, rechargeable flashlight that will last for many years.

What a great idea
Just plug one of these onto a 9 volt battery and you have a flashlight. It's pocket size and you have two brightness choices. I use them with (slightly) used 9 volt batteries that I've taken out of other devices. They still have plenty of juice left to be useful. These are inexpensive and make a nice little pocket flashlight...and you can get use out of those 9 volt batteries that you have laying around. (Well, I do.)

9 Volt LED Flashlight- Ultra Bright (3-Pack)
June 12, 2023. I've had these for about a year and half now and couldn't be more happier having been able to put the 9V smoke alarm batteries to good use after their lifespan in the unit. The batteries will now be able to light up whatever you need from seeing the buttons on your remote while watching TV, in your purse or glove compartment, for camping lighting up a tent and especially for a power outage to get you around and keep a path lit. 9V rarely corrode and ruin your product that takes batteries. Love it, and for under twenty bucks at the time I give it a 5-Stars. No problems with any of these 3 flashlights. Cheers.

Not Aluminium Version!
Advertised as ALUMINIUM, but it's just the same cheap plastic version.

Excellent for using up partially used PP9 batteries from smoke alarms
Replacing PP9 batteries in smoke alarms and old batteries from these still able to supply a good amount of light. Handy to keep with new PP9 in car.

Reasonable Light.
These flashlights are small enough to fit in the pocket or the glovebox in the car. The light given out by these is not bad even though I was using an old battery.
