LÄRABAR Original Fruit & Nut Bars, Lemon 16

Excellent flavour

Larabars are a great product and I have eaten hundreds of them over many years. However, it seems nearly impossible to get a fresh one anymore. The Larabars I get on Amazon are either significantly old or they have been heated up somewhere along the way. They are dry, stiff, and relatively flavorless. I used to be able to get fresh ones both online and at stores such as health food stores or even Walmart. Not anymore. Funnily enough, I used to freeze them when I had too many and I can pull those two or three year old Larabars out of my freezer, let them thaw, and get fresher, tastier product than I can get buying one today. Not sure what happened to LaraBars, but I am going to have to find a different health treat. I am out of patience with LaraBars not being able to fix their freshness issues.

These are great! Love the lemon flavor and tasted of real ingredients. Also love to know that I’m eating real food!

This was for a box of 16 lemon Larabars. The freshness is everything one might expect from a grocery store, and the expiration date matched that. The box was tattered, but the bars were fine.The best news was the customer service. The box was missing 3 bars, probably because the box was falling apart at the perforation lines. The larabar boxes are not durable, but easy to open. I left a note with the seller, and I tell you it was within minutes that the seller not only replied, but asked me if I wanted a partial refund, or just want to go for a full refund. I replied back that the 13 bars were great, and replied back that just a partial refund was in order for the 3 missing bars. I got a reply from that second response in mere minutes too!! Needless to say, the seller applied a refund to account for the missing bars plus tax, and that refund was a good bit more than the appropriate price for 3 missing bars. Needless to say, at these prices, I'll use this seller again. I trust the seller because of this profound response. The missing bars could just as well have been something Amazon missed, and this seller took care of it with lightning speed. 5 stars all around hands down for this seller. The overall experience was better than had it gone seamlessly, as I have now identified a seller who backs the product with speed and confidence.
