Love this "spray paint" for my graying hair! Can't afford to keep going to the salon to get gray touched up. This is an affordable substitute. My hair is a medium brown and I can use Dark Blond, Light Brown or Medium Brown and they will all blend in! I get lots of compliments on my spray- painted hair and it makes me feel and look younger. Note that it does make your hair a little stiff after use as far as getting a brush thru it, but this has never really bothered me, as I love the results!

I don’t have any other root cover product to compare this to, but here are my impressions.I am allowing my natural hair color to grow, and ai don’t intend to color it with hair dye any longer. I know many people who use this between coloring to hide the roots and prolong the time between dyeing, which I never used it for but wish I had! It really works!I’m using it to give my silver hair a chance to grow to a point where I feel I can show the world. But until then, I spray some of this to match the faded dye on the bottom 3/4 of my hair. It has been working great.That’s the good.Here’s the not so good. It’s messy. I use gloves and put an old towel around my shoulders. I would open the window or put a fan on... the colored spray and fumes go everywhere.... including your face, ears, neck... depending where you spray. It washes off, don’t worry. Spray and style hair first... then wash your face and do your makeup.After spraying I rub it in a bit with my gloves fingers, possibly comb or brush it through, then let it dry for a few minutes. Your hair may be sticky, dull, powdery, sort of like lots of hairspray mixed with dry shampoo, and may be tough to style. But, you can do it, and the spray gives your hair texture and body, so there’s that.Try not to touch it... or lay you head on light-colored material. The color comes off even after dry.Even after lightly washing it, my color stays in for several days and I like it even more like that. It still covers, but isn’t as dull looking and the color doesn’t come off on my hands.The spray comes out fast and furious. It’s sort of tough to control... but you start to get use to it.I sometimes can’t believe I spray this stuff on my head... but it comes in handy so I’m happy to have it.I wish it was a larger can ... and half the price!
