Does this come with the power supply?

It doesn't use a power supply - it runs on two AAA batteries. In mine, I use Tenergy NiMh rechargeables; I get about 25-30 hours of operation on a charge.

What cable do i need for the input? Xlr male to 3.5 if i want to input a laptop audio?

Most all computers these days have stereo headphone outputs. You wouldn't want to use the P2 on a computer input just to clarify. Make sure to select stereo on the P2 (there's a switch in the battery compartment for Mono or Stereo). Just make sure to purchase a TRS (stereo) mini (3.5)) to XLR. Hope this helps.

When you have your in ear headphones plugged in do you hear out of both sides or just one with this amp?

Mine is working very nicely, same volume in both ears. There is a mono/stereo switch on the inside that is selected on mono on mine. We use is on the X32 output with xlr plugs.
