Yes, these work well with Rocketbook. You can use any Frixion product with a Rocketbook.

will the eraser get smaller like a pencil eraser?

The eraser does not crumble like an eraser on a pencil. It stays intact and cleanly erases the ink. I'm a teacher and use these pens to draw graphs in different colors and I don't have to worry if I make a mistake, because my errors can be completely erased. The only negative with this pen is that the ink sometimes smears if touched before it is dry.

Does it write like a ball pen?

Yes, it does write the same as ball point pen but I think gel pen does have a softer touch in writing.
