Is this hook really tiny?

They are tiny but then again the numbers for them is right,from #1,2 ,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, this are small hooks used for very small fish like grants,sardines,babe snappers,but not good at all for big snappers,blue runners,jacks,grouper,jellow tail.for this big fishes the hook sizes would be 5/0,6/0,7/0,8/0,9/0,10/0 and so on

Question for seller once again, what are hook sizes in north american hook sizes???

Are these hooks made of hardened "thin-wire" stems?

I believe so because after getting hung up they break rather than bend. Which i like because i dont loose the whole rig just the hook. And they are strong enough for 8 to 10 lbs catfish.
