Exactly What I Was Hoping For
This desk was definitely what I was looking for - in terms of construction, dimensions and quality. I noticed that it was knocked in some reviews because the reviewer(s) thought it wasn't sturdy enough. The first thing I have to point out is that it is advertised as a folding desk. It's not as unsteady as a folding card table but it can be folded. I don't plan to fold/unfold the desk much if at all because that could weaken it. When it is unfolded, it is steady enough for my monitor, two small speakers and an external hard drive. And it gives me much more surface area than my previous desk did. It would be less steady without the keyboard tray installed because the left and right sides fold towards the center but I don't plan to use the desk without the keyboard tray. My first impression of the desk was that it was easy to assemble. All it took was 4 wood screws (provided), a hex wrench (provided) and the pre-drilled holes for the screws. Next, I unfolded the left and right sides of the desk and slid the keyboard tray into the rails on the inner part of the left and right sides. Then, because I live in earthquake country, I anchored the desk to the wall with the brackets and strap provided with the desk. I used my drill for that. That's all the assembly that was required. I've been using the desk for several weeks now and love the materials used in making the desk. And I love the wide keyboard tray (spans the width of the desk). I was delighted to learn the tray locks into place when extended. I've had no problems or complaints about the desk so far. It will obviously take some time to know whether it's going to be a durable desk but I foresee no problems. So, the desk met and exceeded my expectations, considering the price. It meets my specific needs and, if your needs are similar to mine, I highly recommend this desk. If my experience changes later, I'll update this review.

Perfect for teardown office
Been working from home during the shelter-in-place the last few months off a card table. Decided to upgrade to something a little more solid and ergonomic. Pros: - Easy to assemble - Reasonably solid - Wide keyboard drawer - Solid wood, not MDF or particleboard - Looks nice Cons - Finger-joined wood. That's when you combine small pieces of wood to form a longer board - Large box. On the heavy side for a smaller person to handle. Based on past reviews, I was concerned about build quality. The first desk I received had one of the finger-joints separated - Don't know if it came from the factory not glued, or the glue separated in transit. Returned to Amazon and replacement arrived in a few days with no defects. Screw holes lined up correctly. Legs opened to the correct location with no risk of keyboard tray falling out. No additional securing of the desktop needed - was concerned I might need to latch the desktop to the legs somehow based on past reviews. Folds up easily and slides under my bed for easy storage. Takes a little longer to set up than a card table, mainly due to the keyboard tray. Was concerned the desk might be too low since I'm very tall. If I were using an office chair, I'd likely want to put some furniture risers under the desk feet. But with the chair I'm using, it fits fine. Great product for the money. Docked one star due to the first desk having to be returned. Only concern / unknown at the moment is how durable it is, and how long it will last with daily takedown / setup. But the hinges all look solid. Given it's wood, should something give, hopefully I'll be able to fix it without too much trouble.

I Like It
Put it together. Screw the top to the flappy bits, as instructed. Very simple. Not too heavy. Very nice size, perfect for one or two monitors and any keyboard and mouse, and a bunch of stuff on top. I like the "natural" wood color. Reasonably steady for such a light desk, after the parts are put together. A bit of the top wood part where it zigzags, where they put the parts together, is a bit rough - it doesn't bother me, but for the price the top part should be more carefully inspected.

Great piece for the price, even better with minor DIY. 10 month; 30 month update. still good!
For the price, this is an excellent piece of furniture. Itโs solid wood and easy to assemble. Mine came with a slightly warped top but itโs fine for a computer. There are two (three, see update) minor design issues that could be easily fixed: 1. The table legs donโt lock in the open position and would fold in if the tray isnโt installed. I plan to fix this by drilling a couple of small holes and adding bolts to the legs to temporarily lock them open. (UPDATE 1: never did this, but I did add a small plastic bumper/spacer on one of the legs to make it a bit more solid. See pic) 2. Thereโs some instability and it wiggles slightly side to side. I fixed this by adding a plywood panel across the rear rectangle. (See pic) 3. UPDATE: the flathead screws that attach the tray rails to the legs can pop through and cause the tray to crash to the ground. Easily fixed with larger flathead screws. UPDATE: After 10 months of solid service, I bumped the tray with my hip and it went crashing to the floor with my keyboard, mouse, and some other stuff. The problem was that two of the flathead screws on the right track had popped through the track, and that caused it to rotate and fall away. The fix was easy: Replace or augment the screws with other flatheads with slightly larger heads. I've attached three pictures: One with my "back panel" mod that improved stability, one showing the left track with both an original screw (to the right of the wheel) and a new larger screw (above the wheel), and one showing the small plastic bumper/spacer between the leg and the top rail. Still giving it 5 stars given the price, aesthetics, quality of the wood, and the ease of fixing the minor problems. UPDATE #2 at 30 months: This desk is still going strong with nearly daily use and my modifications. I made one more upgrade: On the back panel, I also added a couple of inexpensive, stick-on cable management channels/trays. In total, the plywood, screws, and cable channels probably added another $30 to the cost, still in line with the competition. I'm retiring the desk from my use as I've upgraded to a new custom one, but I have no reason to think it wouldn't last for several more years.

Better Than Expected
I love my new computer desk! I wanted something inexpensive, easy to put together, and with a decent size keyboard tray. I know, that's a pretty tall order. (Most keyboard trays these days don't have room for a mouse ... craziness!) Well, this desk fits the bill. I didn't expect it to be as nice as it is, but much to my surprise, it's actually very good. I don't want to mislead you; it's not like buying a piece of furniture in the furniture store. But it's not flimsy, and it looks nice. My son came over to help me put it together, figuring there would be more to it than they lead you to believe, but there was nothing to it. Also, he asked me to forward him the link so he can order one for himself and my daughter-in-law. We were concerned because there are a couple of comments that showed concern about the legs folding in if kicked by accident, but that's really not a concern. The keyboard tray goes totally across the length of the desk, so it's not possible for the legs to be kicked in because the keyboard tray would stop it. You can see in my photo, there's plenty of room for both my monitor and CPU (I have a 25" monitor). The only reason I don't have my CPU on the desk is because I have a large tower, and I've never had it on any of my desks because I don't like it taking up room on there. But, you can put your CPU on the desk if you want. It's strong enough and there's plenty of room for both. There's also plenty of room to put it under the desk without it being in the way of foot room.

Decent, solid desk for the money
Pros: Good solid wood desk, not particle board. Actually a little bigger than I anticipated, but still a real good size if you have limited room. Cons: Assembly should have been much simpler, it's only (4) woold screws but the pre-cut holes didn't line up quite as they should so the screws were much more difficult to put in they should have been. And I had to use my own tools instead of the little hex/allen wrench they provide. Desk has a little bit of a wobble to it, but I'm thinking it's because of the foldable design and don't anticipate it being much of an issue. Overall: I would buy it again for this price point. The materials are of good quality for money for sure. Does not have "cheap feel" to it at all. 4 stars for sure if the holes were drilled correctly for assembly.

Unbelievably nice for such a low price
This desk is of extremely hard REAL wood. It is a nice size, it's easy to put together once you have the screws, and it's of very good quality. NOT A SINGLE PIECE OF MDF. At first I left a poor review because when I opened the box, I couldn't find the four specifically sized screws to attach the top, and this site and the seller's site had not made it easy or quick to request replacements. I ended up drilling a hole of my own on each side of the back to attach the top, because none of my screws fit the pre drilled holes. The wood was SO HARD (none of this balsa wood!) that my impact drill struggled to drill through it. But I did get it attached. Anyway, the next day when I was cleaning up the packaging, I saw a tiny nondescript unlabeled white box and that ended up having the hardware in it. Took about two minutes to put in and tighten properly. I just left the extra screw in, it's not hurting anything and it's on the back so you can't see it. So if you can't find the hardware (I saw a lot of reviews saying the same thing), you need to literally take the packaging apart piece by tiny piece because it may be hiding like mine was. They need to put that hardware in a DayGlo orange box or something. The desk came well packaged but there was a scratch on the top ... not enough to make me not like it or to make me return it but it is through the finish and it's in a very visible place. That, and the difficulty finding the screws, were the only problems I had. Otherwise this little inexpensive desk knocked it out of the park.

Great Desk!
Ordered this desk for working from home as I needed something I could put away at the end of the day. The desk was incredibly easy to put together and all the necessary tools were included. The wood finish looks great and it's well made. I was really surprised with how stable the desk is for being foldable - it also comes with a wall mount should you want more stability. It's the perfect size - I can fit my monitor and laptop with keyboard and mouse and lots of comfortable space. Really pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend. Great value!

Beautiful Wooden Desk
Sturdy and big, perfect for a desktop with a larger keyboard. Relatively easy to assemble. Instructions and screws/tool included. I bought it to replace a piece of junk I used during Covid. It was time to buy a nice desk!

Great value
As many have written, this little desk is solid wood with a nice finish. Easy to assemble and very sturdy for a fold-up piece of furniture. Excellent size for my laptop and an external monitor. The slide-out shelf is very roomy - lots of room for my keyboard and mouse. Would recommend to anyone looking for a workspace that doesn't take up a lot of space.

Great Purchase; Highly Recommend
Item arrived and was missing screws (I bought the item at a discount from Amazon). When I contacted customer service they were more than helpful and provided me with the means to amend the problem. The wood is very good quality and I'm sure it's going to be a breeze to assemble (only 4 screws and an Allen/Hex Key)--I can already tell it will fold up easy.. The finish on the desk is nicer than I expected based on the pictures. The dimensions are great and actually superior to other desks I inspected while shopping around. This desk is well worth its standard price--I was insanely lucky to get it for the price I paid. I would definitely purchase this item again (and at a higher price at that).
