Amazon Grocery, Minced Onion, 15 Oz

I go through dried diced/minced/chopped onions like crazy! My usual brand just went sky high in price so I thought I would give these a try. I'm canning today so will use at least 1/3 of the bottle. These smell awesome when you open the jar. Of course, I like that smell! These are not bitter, and they are minced nicely, easy to measure, (I just eyeball it) have a great presentation in the bottle, look nice and clean, and they taste good! The price was right for me and probably is going to convert me into a follower! I don't just can with these, I use in almost everything I cook. (No, I dont put in desserts or oatmeal....). These are so versatile and fresh! There are nutrients in onions and I feel good about that so with that and the taste and price, it's a win-win-win situation! Also they are shelf stable for a long time. Mine will be long gone and replaced before that date hits! If you dont want to dice and cry, get some of these!

I think these little mince dried onions pack more flavor than a big old whole onion chopped up. I use this in a lot of things. I also make my own French onion soup mix cream of chicken soup mix cream mushroom soup mix, and I use these in that it gives it a really good boost flavor you have to let them soak for a little bit and you have to be sure you’re cooking something. You can’t throw them in because they are dried and they would be crunchy taste is onion. The aroma is an onion. taste is onion. The aroma is of onion and I really like these. I keep them on hand all the time and I’m Amazon has such a good price on them !

I purchase Amazon Grocery spices often because the quality, size and price is right for me. Minced onion is in so many recipes and they rehydrate excellently. I would, and have, reordered.

These chopped onions are super convenient and fresh-tasting! They save so much time when cooking, and the flavor is great in soups, casseroles, burgers, and everyday meals. The texture stays nice after cooking, and the 15 oz size is perfect to keep in the freezer for quick meal prep. Great quality and very practical for busy days. I will definitely buy them again!

This size is a very convenient thing to have. I use a lot of this, so buying it in bulk saves me money. One small nitpick: The bottle doesn’t fit in any of the shelves in my over the door spice racks. I have two different ones, six shelves each. Fits none of them If you used the standard bulk bottle (such as the ones Big Spice uses) they’ll fit better. Otherwise, I’m really happy with the savings! Best buy date is two years from now. It won’t go to waste!

We use dehydrated onion a lot for many dishes so we buy what is the least expensive. This onion doesn't seem to have the flavor of other brands. And the pieces are so small it takes so much more to flavor even a small dish. It is easy to add to dishes and has a lot longer shelf life than fresh onions. Makes it easier to just add a bit to a quick meal than to dig out cutting board and knife just for a few onions. Although, I am just not sure I will buy this brand again. Will see after we use both containers we bought.

Good fresh flavor and flake size.

I always try to keep dried onions on hand. I love how easy they are to add to dishes. I don't have a worry about running out of fresh onions, or them going bad because I didn't use them up fast enough. And this is so easy,no preparation needed. And this is a great price for this large container. I will definitely buy again.
