Setting this sensor up was so amazingly fast and easy! You put in the battery, install the app, hold the sensor over your screen in the app, and it works. Setting the temperature range is very easy and intuitive too. I wouldn't hesitate to add another next time one is needed.The Bluetooth signal is attenuated a lot by the freezer that the sensor is in. It does not reach the 2nd floor of my house from the basement where the freezer is. Not a big deal for me since I don't need a connection all the time. Even knowing this limitation, I still prefer the Bluetooth connection to WiFi. WiFi is best for monitoring while away, but honestly this doesn't change much. If the freezer dies while I'm at work, it will still stay cold until I get home anyway. If it dies while I'm on vacation, I'm not flying home just to save all the hot dogs. My fear is the most likely scenario: the freezer dies on a normal day when we could have saved everything, but we don't realize it until after everything goes bad because we don't use it everyday. The Bluetooth connection solves that even if it doesn't reach the bedrooms. It also solves the possibly second most likely freezer problem for us: the power goes out and we don't know when things in the freezer will thaw unless we open the freezer door, which makes them thaw much faster. If you lose power and the freezer stops working, the WiFi dies too, but Bluetooth keeps going and tracking with the door closed while waiting for the power to be fixed.Update: We came home from a vacation and found that a brief power outage damaged the compressor in our kitchen refrigerator/freezer (without this sensor), and we found melted and re-frozen food in that freezer. We initially didn't know if all the food in our basement freezer (with this sensor) had experienced a thaw and re-freeze as well. This sensor verified that temperatures were stable the whole time and that all the food was still good. Way better than looking at ice cube shapes to guess if there was a bad thaw. It saved us hundreds of dollars to know we did not have to replace our frozen food. I highly recommend this sensor and it has already more than paid for itself several times over.Update: I bought 8 of the sensors plus the WiFi gateway for the research lab where I work. They are serving us well in a setting where it is important to verify the integrity and proper storage temperature of our reagents. They are guarding tens of thousands of dollars worth of delicate supplies. I had to restart the gateway once, but other than that there have been no issues. So easy to set up and use and continue to be trustworthy in my hands.Update: the first battery lasted about a year and a half before needing replacement. That's pretty good!

Yes, these are expensive. However, when you buy quality, you only cry once. I'm currently using five sensors and a Gateway, and they are amazing. I'm using three in cigar humidors, one in a freezer, and currently the last one is for ambient conditions in the house. They are super simple to set up, and the amount of information they provide is great. The other night I accidentally left a humidor open, and soon I was getting alerts on my phone telling me the humidity was dropping. Cigars saved! I did find that I couldn't get a sensor to connect in the freezer on my newer fridge because it has very thick doors. Their website warns this can be an issue.I love the ability to set temperature and humidity parameters and get notices when a sensor goes outside those parameters. I love the ability to check the records over the last day, week, month, year, etc. If my home loses power while I'm away, I'll not only know that the freezer is getting warm, but I'll know if it gets warm enough for long enough for the food to thaw. I'll also know if someone accidentally leaves the freezer door ajar and can fix it before my food thaws. I'll also know when I need to add water to my cigar humidors. In short, these sensors have the potential to save me a lot of money. I have a friend who owns a cigar shop and uses these and he got an alert one night that his shop humidor humidity was at 80 percent and rising. He alerted an employee who went to the shop and discovered the humidifier was stuck in the ON position. Had he not had the sensor, he would have discovered the next day that his entire inventory of cigars was ruined. Saved him many thousands of dollars.The sensor in my garage freezer is about fifty feet from the Gateway with an exterior door and the freezer door between it and the Gateway. It still connects! UPDATE: Last night someone in my household left the freezer door slightly ajar. I got an alert on my phone and was able to close the door before it stayed open all night and ruined everything in the freezer! That one alert nearly paid for the sensor.My greatest surprise with these was the incredible customer service. I emailed a question about my Gateway and received a reply within 24 hours. The rep was super helpful, and when we concluded that I wouldn't be able to fix my issue, he promptly sent me a new unit-over the weekend and with 2-day delivery! He was responding to my emails on the 4th of July as well as the Saturday and Sunday of the holiday weekend. Incredible. I'm sold on the products and the company.

Ended up losing thousands of dollars of food. Since then I looked for a well built and, most importantly, ACCURATE and FUNCTIONAL way to monitor multiple freezers and refrigerators with push notifications.After going through a bunch of other sensors I got one of these and tried it for a few months. I was totally blown away. These sensors are very accurate and very responsive to temperature change. The app shows you all the data you could want with near realtime (to the minute) readings, trends, averages, etc all in an easy to read and intuitive interface.The push notifications are where these things turn to gold for me. When paired with a G1 Gateway from SensorPush you can access the data wherever you have internet! But the REAL plus is that you get push notifications, app alerts, and email alerts when a sensor reaches a custom temperature threshold. If I had that before my freezers blew I could have woken up and seen the notifications and then scrambled to save my food.I can't say how pleased I am with these sensors. I can honestly say that I feel better knowing that, should another catastrophe happen to my freezers, these sensors will alert me and I can have time to save my frozen things before they thaw. I will update my review as time goes on. Some of the freezers I have get really cold (as seen in the pictures) so I shall see how resilient they are!

I've had 3 sensors and a wifi base station running for over 2 years. Super accurate and rock solid performance even with a weak wifi signal. Just need to change batteries for the first time. Adding more units for remote greenhouses on the farm.

I spent most of my working life designing and using electronic equipment. When I started with this product family about three years ago I was hesitant. It was a little pricey, it didn't quite fit my needs in some respects. But I had tried the cheap stuff like Govee. And while their stuff isn't terrible, it isn't great either. Worst of all it requires Chinese software on your phone, and you don't have to be a student of global politics to know that the CCP/PLA can compel companies to put back doors and spyware in their software. And why wouldn't they, when it gives them great intelligence gathering, and toehold platforms for cyber attacks? So I was ready for something better, but I did not want to spend the next few months rolling my own solution. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I found Sensor-Push. It is rock solid reliable, and while the modules use a weird battery, it lasts a couple of years. At this point I have sensors monitoring everything from my pet poultry in their house, to the return air in my HVAC system. I have five sensors that are used to monitor dry aging of meat, yeast and sourdough ferment production and storage, bread-making, and I soon plan to add monitoring of my steam injection oven, espresso machine, and coffee roaster. I am using a couple of their Bluetooth to Wi-Fi gateways, which not only keeps me from encountering any out of range problems, but it also lets me check on things from anywhere in the world.But wait, because I buried the lead. Today is Sunday. This morning I decided to send them an email about special requirements I have and things I would like to see in the future. I figured I would here from them later next week. Within the hour I had a reply from a knowledgeable, helpful, friendly guy. And the answers I received were excellent "can do" answers. Now I have been involved in electronics professionally since 1975, and as a hobby, from about age 11. I remember the time when I could pick up the phone with a problem and wind up talking first to a sales engineer, and ultimately to the guy who designed the IC or other component - but it has been a lot of years since things worked that way. Today reminded me of the excellence I used to encounter daily in the 1980s. So if you are considering an application that these folks can meet, and you want a rock solid product with software that doesn't make you cringe when you install it on your phone, I will recommend Sensor-Push without hesitation. And if you don't see what you need in their lineup, send them an email. I can't promise a Sunday reply, but this is a company that wants to meet the needs of its customer base. They have a good thing going and it seems logical that they will expand their offerings over time. So yes, I am a fanboy, but using the product and being very satisfied is my only connection. I've been using this device now for a little over a month and I'm very please with the device and the app's good overall design. I'm using the SensorPush to monitor the temp and RH in my crawlspace after having it encapsulated.After following instructions on the SensorPush web site I got the rel. humidity calibrated but it was already within 3% of the proper reading (using the salt test) out of the box so I was tickled with this unit's initial accuracy. I didn't touch the temp readings, the SensorPush measured within 0.5F of my two (rather pricey) Honeywell thermostats so I figured what came out of the factory wasn't worth adjusting.The app is very well designed, it's very intuitive and SensorPush explains it all quit nicely on their web site. The only reason I dinged it 1 star is I sometimes I have trouble downloading the data on my phone from the sensor. It seems every day or every other day it takes 2-3 tries of manually refreshing the download to get the data and strangely on two different phones (one Android 7, one Android 11) the SensorP just vanishes from the Bluetooth list. I have to either stop the app manually or reconnect via BT when this happens. It doesn't happen often but neither of the phones drops any other BT associated item so I don't get why the issue is hapepning. And distance isn't the issue as I'm within 3 ft. of the device.Except for that minor annoyance the little bugger works quit nicely, plus SensorPush's web site is fantatically designed. The guys that run the place be more like engineers selling and supporting a precision measuring device, not selling a consumer-grade device that they could care less if it works well or not.This gizmo may be higher priced than competitors but it's WELL worth the asking price. if I could change anything (I can live with the app) it's the weirdo battery used. It's the same cell used in a lot of these remote sensors but man is it hard to find and the cells sold on Amazon have horrid ratings when you dig into them. I'm not exactly enamored with spending the $$ to get them from DigiKey or Mouser either due to their shipping charges (they're geared to sell to businesses like the electronics company I work for, not individuals). Sounds like when the battery change time comes I'm making so mods so I can run it off AA primary lithium cells........

These are nothing short of excellent. They are easy to set up, they work as designed, and they keep working without having to pamper them. It's great to know if a fridge or freezer goes out, if the door is left open, or what the temperature has been without opening the door if the power goes out.

I own two of these sensors and I have the Wifi base so I can access the information anywhere on the planet where I have internet access. This product is really great. It provides very accurate information and setup is simple. The battery in the sensor lasts a long time, at least one year. My only suggestions for improvement would be to provide a constant display option to mount in my office and maybe a rechargeable battery option.

I'm not often given to writing reviews, but in this instance I had to make an exception. For occupational and safety reasons, it is important for me to know early morning outdoor temperatures especially through the winter months. Over the years I've had so many so called weather stations with an outside sensor and an indoor read out. Mostly these have been next to useless, hardly ever making the claimed wireless connection irrespective of where they were placed. Looking for yet another solution, I came across SensorPush, never heard of them, no idea what they were about, or indeed if this would be the answer to the eternal problem. So I emailed the guys at SensorPush outlining my problem and what I needed to achieve. Allowing for the time difference, I got a prompt reply which from a customer service point of view was very encouraging, a brief further exchange of emails and they were able to confirm the unit most suitable for my needs, which I duly purchased there and then. I cannot begin to tell how impressed I am with this product, it is absolutely brilliant, having downloaded the app and paired with my phone, all I needed to do was position the sensor in an outdoor protected location (as advised by the guys at SensorPush) and this has worked flawlessly. I now have accurate outdoor readings from anywhere in the house (bluetooth range seems fine so far) I'm sure I will add additional internal sensors mostly for controlling humidity later in the year

Super easy to use and install, consistent reading across various sensors and a very easy app to work with. Interface is clear and set up is clear. My only complain is that when pairing multiple devices the name for the device needs to be named by every user. So Sensor 1 in my phone could be labeled sensor X in another, which is not ideal.

Fonctionne en Bluetooth mais l'appareil peut garder une vingtaine de jour les données en mémoire pour les Rapatrier dans le téléphone si vous n'étiez pas à côté. Mesures très précises !
