Many possibilities.
After watching a million YouTube videos about jigs I decided to take a dive. I wanted to make a straight edge jig. I have been lucky enough to come across some really good pallet wood and some throw away prices at my local lumber yard. Assembly was easy but to be honest it took me a while to figure out how to install the clamps. My clamps did not come with any instructions. So I went back to YouTube and found a couple videos with some pretty good instructions. (As a side note I have some pretty fat fingers so getting the screws on took me a second until I was a little more comfortable). Once everything was set up the clamps worked like a charm. The wood did not move when I ran it through my table saw. I was able to make adjustments in a snap but I noticed the screws were loose at times. I just started paying more attention to everything and it worked out fine. Another side note worth mentioning. When you are getting ready to clamp down make sure you are paying attention to the clamp and wood (distance) because you can easily force and bend the clamp if itโs to close. I would recommend this item to anyone trying to improve there woodworking skills. Plus, these clamps have so many more uses.

All kinds of ways to use these
Bought these some time back just to have around. Was originally thinking of using them to build a sled for vertical raised panel routing, but never got around to making it. Figured I'd find some ways to use them. And I did just that. Used to them to hold my miter sled to the side of my saw stand and they work perfectly for the purpose. Also use one to hold my other miter gauge to the other side of the saw stand. Makes for a great way to store some tools with easy and quick access. They open and close well. I like how adjustable they are, to be able to clamp down so many things. Happy with my purchase and a reminder that I need to buy more.

Good for cheap hardware
I bought these for holddowns on my tablesaw jointing sled. They're fine, but I wish I'd gone for something nicer. They still get 4 stars though, because they did get me through my project and at the price (cheap!) they're still a decent value. The problem is, they feel cheap (things flex), and they have a very minimal adjustment range where they'll grip well. They can't grip anything above the plane the base is mounted on. So if you're holding down anything thicker than paper, you'll need to mount the base on a platform. And if you want to hold down different thicknesses of things, you'll need to swap the platform and remount the clamps. For me, that means my jointer sled can only be used for 1x and plywood, not 2x stock. Unless I switch out the raiser platform or build (and store) a second sled. Both options suck. Quality: Like I said, they feel cheap, but the do work. The flexibility of everything I think contributes to the narrow range of good grip. Too loose and things slide, too tight and it won't lock. Depth adjustment is with 2 nuts locked against each other. Which works fine but is a bit of a hassle to adjust. It's been a few months now, but if memory serves the screws they included were pretty useless. You'll be happier if you have some 1/2" or 3/4" wood screws to mount these with. Conclusion: If you only need to hold down same-thickness pieces, and don't mind mounting the clamps on a platform of that same thickness, these are a decent value for the price. If you need any more flexibility than that, go for another (probably pricier) option. I hope this was helpful.

Good value for the money. The mechanical drawing needs work.
Sturdy and good value. Please measure the hole spacing before designing this into CAD software. The drawing in the listing is off by a few millimeters and will not line up well if you trust it.
