Do not use. I made the mistake of not reading the negative reviews which had the same reaction. My cat’s whole head went red & fur all fallen out the next day and didn’t even help with the scratching because she was still scratching after it. I only washed her head with this shampoo and I’m thankful I didn’t do the rest of her. DO NOT BUY.

The seller sent me conditioner and I bought shampoo, the product is great, the error was in the delivery.

I use this for my dog who gets skin infections and the shampoo works great and keeps me from the vet! Smell is not overwhelming, it is also moisturizing too.

My beautiful golden is a wonderful companion and really is the perfect dog...well almost. He can be incredibly stubborn and is a tad OCD like myself. He has declared war on a skunk that passes thru our yard and in the past 2 weeks has been sprayed 5, yes 5 times, the last time he got it right in the face as the skunk became cornered trying to exit a hole under the fence I had fixed. Mr B is a really smart guy mind you, but as I said stubborn. The first night he got sprayed I was trying to remember all the hacks to get rid of the smell when I thought of this shampoo. It has a really fresh citrus fragrance that cuts through the river smell he gets from swimming and chasing fish all day. Trust me that is a stench in itself. Well it worked perfectly on the skunk smell every time, even the full face spray!! I did have to lather him up a couple of times and for his face several times but it cut the odor and it always leaves his coat soft and shiny. As for helping with hot spots and itching this shampoo works like a miracle. Like most goldens my boy is prone to skin problems and has suffered through weeks of treatments and meds through the years. I saw this shampoo and gave it a try and am so glad I did. When he gets a hot spot they are usually big and ozzy so when I bathe him I start by putting the shampoo on the spot itself, then continue as usual. In a couple of days it is gone! I no longer have to cut chunks of his coat out so air can get to the hot spot. This works for him and he is visibly more comfortable after the bath, no itching and licking. He does get bathed often because of his love of the yucky water but his skin and coat are in great condition,. I love this stuff!
