MCS Format Picture Frame, 5x7, Black, Tabletop Easel, 12-Pack

I bought these without paying too much attention to them and was surprised when i opened them- they weren't what I was expecting like my last 5x7 frames. At first I wasn’t sure I wanted to keep them or use them, but I went ahead and framed an piece and found that I really like them! They are easy to use-just pop the glass and paper out from the front, pop the stand off the back and put it in the horizontal or vertical location and you’re done. I chose to use the stands and not hang them on the walls - yet. But I imagine they look great in a grouping. There is virutually no frame around your item, its mostly just the glass and your picture, but it stands up nicely, it looks good and I’ve framed multiple pieces with them now. I think I’ll be buying more.

I bought the 12 pack and for 35 dollars I wasn’t sure what to expect but I’m pleasantly surprised; for what these are they are very good quality. I had bought them to gift 8x10 photos to family and I feel perfectly okay doing that because these are nice. I wanted something that basically upheld the purpose of holding the photo since that’s the real gift and was still nice to hang on the wall and good enough quality that I didn’t feel like a cheapskate. (Purchasing 12 separate frames gets expensive) These are easy to use, the purpose of these type of frames in my opinion is to showcase, when you want something good quality but it’s main purpose for you is showing off the artwork or photo. These are perfect for that. This is a great price much better quality than the frames of this style that you would usually find. I was intimidated by the front loading glass but I didn’t need to be, I did watch the video here on Amazon but I think if I hadn’t I would have been okay, I do recommend that though. These are easy to use and the glass is such good quality and they have it polished to where it won’t cut you. I really love these and if I ever need to, I will purchase again. Even though I bought these for photographs and they work perfectly I think these frames would be absolutely perfect for prints/artwork as well.

Theses frames exceeded my expectation. They do feel a little cheap but they're very sturdy they really just add a professional touch to any photo I bought them for these prints that I bought. but they were so much fun to use I started finding old pictures that I've always wanted to frame. They're not hard to set up and it comes with a cute little plastic stand so you can put it on a display if you're not going to hang it up. Although in some frames the plastic holder takes a bit of muscle to pop out I recommend taking it off before you insert the picture. They were packaged really carefully and shrink wrap and then surrounded by styrofoam none of my frames came cracked except for one but it was a tiny chip like you really have to be nitpicky to see it.

I used all 12 the minute they arrived. I had 11 8x10 canvases I had painted ready to be hung up. This comes in two boxes of 6 each. The boxes are marked fragile for the piece of glass that comes with each frame. The frame itself is plastic, there is a cardboard inside and a pane of glass lies on it. The frame is opened by pushing the glass out though the front as the plastic frame is flexible. It's fairly simple to use, but not like most frames where you reach though the back and never really touch the glass. The frame isn't too deep, so if you out canvas in there, it's better to not place the glass back, that resulted in the tight fit of the glass cutting my finger. I purchased these for inexpensive wall art. I also had a lot of scrap cloth around, so I wrapped a chevron pattered blue and white cloth around the cardboard and placed it back into the frame with the glass on top. This looks wonderful! I will be buying more of these frames in various sizes for other rooms in the house. I had a three piece 8x10 paintings I had done, with lots of pinks and whites, and the black frame just wasn't going, so I spray painted the frame a rich gold and viola, a perfect frame! Spray painting the frames for a unique and elegant look is a brilliant DIY to really make these smart frames work anywhere. These frame look great with canvas, giving it an almost stretched canvas look. Each frame comes with a little easel in the back that can be easily attached for a standing frame. They can be hung horizontally or vertically, and the hole is good for both conventional picture hooks and escutcheon pin. I even ran out of hanging hardware for the last three and used simple screws, as the frames are very light, they are standing up just fine (the pink set). Parental presence is required if you let your kids handle these, the glass is well-cut & super sharp! If you are looking into buying frames for slightly more expensive artwork, or need more ornate frames, these probably won't work, they are super simple with barely any frame in the front. They are for inexpensive wall art if your are creating a simple gallery wall or for art work that you simply need a way to hang, don't expect the frame to be the center of attention, it won't look as pretty as a wooden frame or even Ikea's RIBBA. Overall, for my purposes I am super happy with the quality, quantity & price of these and will definitely be buying them again.

Love these frames. Simple to hang and or assemble stand. Basic black frame matches basically everything. Fame stands up to the changing of pictures around if needed.

Packaging/First Site (5/5): These frames were packaged VERY well. They were boxed, padded and put together with care. There is no way these could have broken. They arrived in one piece and packaging was definitely well thought out. Product (5/5): The frames were actually better in person! For the price, I did not expect them to be as high-quality. I expected the front to be more plastic-y but were indeed glass. The only thing was, it took several tries for me to figure out how to get the picture in and to close it. Overall (5/5): Would I order the item again in other colors or for a friend? Yes! Would I order other items from this seller based on the product and service? Yes! Absolutely.

7 years ago, I bought this exact same frame for $15 because I needed to frame a Disney cell and wanted a better display than the cheap frames from the Dollar Tree give, but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg. The frame was perfect. Very thin black metal border attached to an attractive, sturdy plastic box frame. The picture is supported securely to the front and protected by a glass cover. Very professional looking and super easy to keep clean. Was worth the money even at $15. So, when I purchased 10 more pictures, I wanted the same frame. At $15 a shot, though, it gets a little pricey. By purchasing these 12, the frame breaks down to just under $4 a frame and is the exact same quality as the one I bought years ago. When I ordered them, I was skeptical, but I kid you not, they are the same. Two friends of mine just raved about the presentation they make on the wall. I couldn't be more delighted!

I have gallery walls all over my house with pictures of different sizes. Totalling about 150 pictures so far. I needed an affordable, simple frame that wouldn't break the bank and also just be low-profile and simple. These are perfect. I have them in all sizes, mostly 8x10 with a few 5x7 and 4x6. They work great. Very easy to put the pictures in. I have them hanging with Command Strips, which I also recommend. The only con is some of the glass (or plexiglass or whatever this is) has small barely visible scratches. I clean all of these both sides before using, but some do have minor scratches. Still totally worth the money, and I highly recommend them.

I was a bit disappointed because the edges/corners of half the frames were broken off. Other than that, the frames are light and easy to make due. I removed the glass (real glass by the way, which is really cool) because I video the background where my images hang and don't want the reflection.

Really like this product but a little pricey. Easy to use and very sturdy. Not a big fan of the stand but it does work well in low traffic areas. Good concept and hanging is so easy. Would recommend this to anyone.
