Excellent product, performs exactly as described.
This is the best epoxy repair available. You need to clean the repair thoroughly. This has a long pot life and slow cure which makes for a more flexible repair. I've repaired boats and surfboards all my life. I've also done automotive part fabrication and repairs. This time I repaired a ceramic basin for a fountain. I cleaned and opened the crack. I used fiberglass chop into the fissure. I then overlaid fiberglass cloth over the entire bottom of the basin. Then I poured the epoxy mixture onto the repair area and used a plastic putty knife to work the epoxy in and the bubbles out. Last I vacuum bagged the repair to drive the epoxy deep into the fissure. Your have plenty of time to work with this product so don't rush. Make sure to thoroughly mix the two parts (epoxy and hardener) in equal parts, but don't mix so fast that you create bubbles in the mixture. I probably worked the repair for 15-20 minutes to get to where I wanted things When your finished, leave the repaired object alone for at least 24 hours to harden. After reading some reviews I was worried it may be sticky, it wasn't! The fountain basin is holding well with no leaks detected after several weeks. Don't use this product if you need a quick dry time!
