I have owned a number of paper shredders. Nothing goes in the recycle that has a name and/or address unless it is shredded first. Most of my recent shredders have been the type with a container attached. These all have a number of “safety” features. Safety is important as shredders can cause some injuries if not used correctly. However, I have had a number of shredders which are so safe, they do not really work. A shredder which should feed 8 or 10 sheets will jam on 2 sheets. I do a lot of shredding, so I go through a lot of shredders. Recently I needed to replace a shredder. After reading several reviews, I zeroed in on the Aurora line. They had good reviews and were well liked. So, I selected this one. I have been using it for a couple months now. It is by far, the best shredder I have owned. It is very quiet compared to past shredders. It is easy to use. The basket holds a lot of shreds. This one shreds everything (including CD’s and credit cards) into smaller pieces than my past shredders. This allows the bin to hold a lot more before it fills up. The best part, so far, this shredder has not jammed. It works every time. It should automatically reverse to clear jams and I assume that it will reverse when necessary. But, so far, no jams. I use it the same as previous shredders, but no jams. I includes all the usual safety devices, but they do not get in the way of the shredder doings its job.

Typically you do not look at a shredder as a piece of furniture, but this is different. It looks modern with nice design elements around the body making it a nice addition to an office space. First thing I noticed is that it is well made and quiet. I replaced my last shredder that was noisy and wobbly. This is a single body with a basket that is easy to remove for emptying. I called the company to confirm that you can use a trash bag without interfering with the functioning of the equipment. I was looking for a micro-cut shredder and this fit the bill. Multiple features I like include: 60min run time, auto-reverse, and LED status indicator lights. So far, I love this shredder and it is one I recommend.

Great product. Works every time. Nice to have a multi sheet shredder that makes quick work of all types of documents. Well worth the money.

Time will tell if this will hold up as I've not put it to heavy use yet, but out of the box it seems to be solid and of good quality. I've had many shredders, some of which only lasted for a year or two and this one seems most similar to one that I had for over 13 years. It is certainly the quietest shredder I've owned and it does handle multiple sheets of paper although you can definitely hear it drag a bit with more input. I prefer the type of shredder that sits over its own waste basket. In contrast, this has a drawer attached to a taller front panel which doesn't allow me to tip and empty it without making a mess. But I have been successful in stretching a plastic bag across the drawer, which I just lift and tie (assuming I don't overfill it.) One other minor complaint is that it keeps running for a bit after the paper appears to be shredded. This is only minorly annoying because I don't like to leave the room until the machine has finished running. But overall, I am happy with my purchase.

Only had it for about a week and already it is way better than the Fellowes shredder I recently purchased and now got rid of. Most importantly it does not clog like the old unit (which forced me to pull jammed shredded paper from under the blades), has both forward and reverse cleaning modes that actually work, and the casters it rolls on do not stick like the other unit. Great job and well done.

My old Fellows Shredder finally died. I read the reviews and decided upon the Aurora, 12 sheet shredder. It was easy to set up and I had piles of old documents to shred. It is very quiet, and I like the cross cut feature. The pieces are small. I have tried 6 sheets, as the paper I am shredding is thicker, but 6 sheets works well. I have not tried going for 12 sheets, I think they mean 12 sheets of thinner paper. The bin is easy to empty. I have already filled up a huge trash bag with the shreds, and the Aurora is working just fine. It did not heat up as my older Fellows did after an inch or so of papers. So far, I am very happy with the Aurora, I hope it lasts for many years.

Aurora Professional Grade is an excellent shredder and has yet to be overloaded, which is a major advantage over my 10 year old shredder which stopped working. Also, Aurora is relatively quiet and the paper is fine shredded.

This shredder is quite quiet so that's great. Not the loud jarring noise that my old shredder made. It's nice to use, looks good and is working well. I haven't tried to shred very many sheets at a time and won't need to very often. I like that it's white as it fits in better with my home office furniture (a bit of a creamy white, not a bright white). It's grey on the back & sides. The bin is easy to take out & put back. Happy with this purchase.

الجهاز بطل وافضل من المتوفر في السوق من ناحية السعر والعمل .. يكفي انه يعمل لمدة ساعة بدون توقف بعكس أغلب أجهزة التقطيع المتوفرة في السوق تشتغل ٦ دقايق ثم راحه ٣٠ دقيقه او ساعه.. ويتحمل تقطيع ١٢ ورقه مره وحده .. وعملي جدا وسهل تفريغ المحتويات .. عيبه انه الكهرباء ١١٠ .. اضطريت اشتري محول للكهرباء من ٢٢٠ الى ١١٠ واشتغل تمام التمام
