Great valve for sink/toilet supply lines
Great deal compared to buying individually. Work so much better than the old plastic gate valves for my sinks and toilets. It actually shuts the water off. Easy install and no leaks.

Cheap way to upgrade your water shut off valves
These are so superior to the oid screw in type valves with washers that all fail in time. Can't beat the value.

Works well, but body shape not great for installation
Ordered a 10 pack of the straight and 10 pack of angled valves from this brand. They all work very well as valves, with no leaks and standard sizes, at less than half the price of hardware store valves. The only issue is that on the straight valves, the valve body is very round with a very narrow surface to mount your wrench, vs most valves having a nice squared-off body. Because of the minimal contact area, I had to rely at least partially on my wrench shifting to rest against the valve stem while tightening the compression fitting. This doesn't seem to have damaged the stem, but I'm sure it wasn't meant to take any pressure like that. Due to orientation of the valve, the angled valves provide a nice surface to mount a wrench to, so no issues on those.

The valves are open when shipped
The valves are open and are tight, I used some pressure to spin them closed, not excessive and they wouldn't turn so I assumed they were closed....let's just say there was a bit of a mess when I turned on the main water in the basement. Other than that they worked fine.
