A couple months ago I decided to resurrect an old HP laptop that had a hard drive failure. R&R'd the hard drive, stuck Linux on it while preserving the original dead Windows partition. Has worked like a champ for a couple months. One of these days I'll get around to mounting that dead Windows partition and poke around. My PS4 hard drive failed. I've also been watching SMART status on my HP replacement, it's not pretty. So I ordered 2 of these drives. Put one into my PS4, works like a champ. Still too chicken to R&R the hard drive in a (badly) working laptop, even though said laptop gets backed up every night. So, 2 out of 3 are 100% winners, and the third one is unknown due to my cowardice.

I received a Windows system warning that my old hard drive in my Toshiba Satellite was bordering on catastrophic failure. I ordered this unit as a replacement (same hard drive but twice the capacity. I found the entire clone and swap out process to be simple, quick and efficient. The unit has been running successfully ever since the clone and swap out. I used a piece of freeware recommended by Kim Komando for cloning and a You Tube video to perform the swap out....easy, quick and effective. The unit is currently running like a dream.

no problems so far

Works great. Installed no problem but keep in mind it's a blank hard drive with no bootable device. I used a flash drive and my wife's computer to get around this and then once into the computer, I added windows 10 to the hard drive, went into the BIOS menu and set bootable device back to HD.

I cloned my old hard drive to this drive. It now works fine. Saved me getting a new computer. My old drive was dying.

Recently, my Dell Inspiron 5000 HD failed. Dell no longer offers the OEM Toshiba HD. Vendors that still have them in stock are selling them for $350! (The price of a new laptop!) Dell only offers replacement HDs with lesser tech specs than the Toshiba (1TB 5400 rpm SATA). The new Toshiba sold here cost me about $44. It was delivered 'next day' well packed and in original sealed factory box. I saved hundreds of dollars with this purchase. Great honest vendor that lived up to the 24 hour 'next day' delivery promise. You'll need some technical skills, some small jeweler's screw drivers, and knowledge of how to remove the back cover of the laptop.

My laptop quit working a few weeks ago. I ran some tests and found out my hard drive was corrupted. I ordered this hard drive and it arrived the next day. It took about 10 minutes to replace my old hard drive with this one. I inserted my recovery disc and programmed the new hard drive and it was like a brand new old computer. I plan to buy a new computer in the near future as windows no longer supports windows 7 but for now this one will get me through. This was a very inexpensive way to keep my computer alive.

I installed this on my acer aspire 5 slim with no issues. It is quiet and a good additional storage.

hdd correcte pas de problème

There are not many choices for mechanical hard drives. It does not use magnetic stacking technology and is used for RAID data backup and storage in ITX chassis.

El disco duro me llego inclusive 2 dias antes de la fecha estimada, lo use para remplazar un disco duro de una ps4 slim y va muy bien la ps4, como si nada le hubiera pasado, lo recomiendo mucho. El unico detalle es que tal vez deberia de enviarlo mas protegido, es un componente fragil, daeberia de estar mas asegurado.
