This is my second pair of Timberlands. Overall it’s a sturdy, comfortable, long lasting boot. I wear my boots to work as a painter, so they’re actively worn for 60+ hours a week. I replaced my old pair due to insole issues in the right boot. Repetitive creasing at the toes causing unwanted “under the toe support” that I could feel for the first few minutes every day. The outer boot and sole, despite the abuse they received, was still intact and fully functional. This new pair is reasonably priced, and seems to be of the same quality as my last pair. It was slightly easier to break in. (Yes, the first few days they’re a little stiff)

Not a steel or composite toe do won’t work for the job site. Seem to be a good quality boot.

Size 15 - Brown. In light of the negative reviews about ‘not holding up long’ and ‘not being water resistant’ – I have had my boots for 6 months and they look better than when I first took them out of the box. I wore them throughout the all-day Land Rover Kentucky Cross Country Horse Event. It rained or drizzled throughout but these boots kept my socks and feet warm and dry. I wore these going through wet caves, walking across acres of wet grass, and going through mountain forests after it rained and never had any problem with any dampness. As for holding up: I live in a mountainous area with 10 acres of uneven terrain and need boots with good ankle support, so I wear these any time I go out. I have never had a pair of boots with better ankle support, that have been more comfortable, or held up nearly as well as these. THE KEY IS HARD WAX SHOE POLISH. The boots have ‘rough leather’ in the toes and the rest look like genuine shiny leather. Rough leather is far more susceptible to getting torn up. Hard wax shoe polish is mainly clay and carnauba wax, where the clay fills in and coats the leather – the wax moisturizes the inner leather to keep it soft and supple and protects it from getting damaged by making a rock-hard outer shell. I have dug up hundreds of heavy rocks in the fields, gone through forest to chainsaw and trim trees, and done all kinds of activities that would tear boots up but have only scuffed the polished layer and never done any damage to the leather or boot. Once the boots have that shiny outer shell it only takes a few minutes to fill in the scuff marks and have them looking brand new. The pictures are how the look after 6 months and I am confident they will look like this for at least another year.

Fit as expected. I wear a Size 12, ordered 11.5 and had plenty of room for my orthodics. Quality of leather is outsdtsnding as is the construction, fasteners and laces. Boots are "light" compared to other work boots and have been comfortable right out of the box. Major plus, these are made in the Dominica Republic and not China! Feels good to help a small struggling country instead of a global dominating dictatorship.
