How does the frame handle when tenting on uneven ground?

I weigh roughly 260 and my fiancé weighs about 350. We have used this cot for everything. It has held us camping on uneven ground for days on end and the frame never even groaned. We do a lot of camping with horses and it holds up to wear and tear really well. have thoroughly enjoyed it. We also slept on it for about 2 weeks when we moved into our house before our mattress was delivered. It will be worth every cent you spend.

Could you use this without the mattress and just put your sleeping bags on it?

Yes you can use this as cot without the mattress, although the zippered mattress sheet is permanently attached to the cot fabric. Simply remove the air mattress. It is in fact equivalent to two 30" width cots adding up to 60" fabric with both cots sharing a frame rail down the center however so the downside is that you'll be unable sleep centrally on the cot. Without the air mattress, either one side or both sides of the cot can be used, just not down the middle.

does this frame fold up?

Yes. The whole bed (including the frame) fold up and pack into a bag that's about the size of a small tent bag. (18inx18inx42in)

Question how is the product weight 92.64 pounds but it shipping weight is only 40.2 pounds how does it gain 50 lbs?

It's not 92 pounds. Closer to 40. I've carried this upstairs into hotels and used it camping many times. Though I'd like to think I'm a beast, it's not even close to that 92 pound weight. Don't worry, it's light enough for the average person to carry around easily. Plus it has wheels on one side of the bag for pulling it. (At least mine does)
