qt Modern Masters ME705 Oyster Metallic Paint Collection, Satin Water-Based Decorative Metallic Paint

It's hard to capture the true color and metallic shimmer of the ceiling. I mixed warm silver with oyster for more depth to give a moonlight shimmer to my dining room. It's fascinating to me how it changes from one angle to another, lights on vs off, or as the daylight changes to evening. All I know is I'm finally happy with the ceiling after almost 30 years. Paints were easy to work with and smell great-almost like vanilla.

I needed an opalescent pearl like finish on some sea themed wood boxes I was finishing. The metallic paint looks perfect for my project. I first used a primer on my wood and let that dry overnight before applying the metallic paint over it. Using the primer helped a lot and kept me from having to paint several coats. The metallic finish is beautiful and so striking I ended up buying several colors. I think I may try it on some furniture too. I did let the paint dry for several days then applied some lacquer over it for a glossy finish and for additional protection. My boxes look incredible and I am very happy with my purchase.

So easy to work with. My 16 year old did her whole bathroom with a textured washcloth. It turned out So pretty.

On the site the Oyster color appears to be more white pigment. Which is what I was seeking however, upon opening the container notice it was more between goldish or brownish tone which was surprising for a Oyster color.

Used this to do stripes on the wall awesome product.

Though I purchased and received "oyster", it is undoubtedly gold. And since it's 3 coats on my ceiling....that's super frustrating and difficult to fix. Womp womp.
