I use this paper for my Alcohol Marker illustrations and it is fabulous. You can do several layers on it and the paper is a little bit slick so you can sometimes push around the ink once you have built up the layers well enough. Then it's kinda like watercolor painting in a way. I love this paper. It is thin though so I would recommend putting something under the sheet you are drawing on so it doesn't bleed through.

perfect thinness for wrapping Pritchett Boxer bullets to make .550 cartridges, as recommended by Brett Gibbons in his excellent book, The English Cartridge

This paper is perfect for marker or pen and ink work. Does not bleed through and doesn't leach out of the lines etc. Very good high quality paper

I tested every medium I own (minus gouache, acrylic, and oil pastel) on a scrap of this paper - just for fun! I use it to practice book binding since it’s real cheap and I like the thin, semi-transparent quality of it. It’s marketed as marker paper but I find it really versatile for dry media and fineliner ink pens as well. Makes for good, cheap sketching paper. I tried a Zebra Mildliner pen on this, and while it’s not an alcohol marker, there was no bleed-through or ghosting, even after 3 layers. Water-based media is obviously a big no (
