I was really impressed with this product. It’s super easy to use—just apply it like a regular shampoo and within minutes you can see the difference. The color looks very natural and covers gray hair well without damaging it. It also doesn’t have that strong chemical smell like traditional dyes, which is a huge plus. My hair felt soft, shiny, and not dry at all after using it. Perfect if you want something quick and convenient without going to a salon. I would definitely buy it again. Easy to use, the consistency of the product is a bit watery but I managed to make it work on my hair. You must wear gloves when used it. I leave it on for 20 minutes. Very effectiveness product.

Dark Brown was the perfect color I was looking for. It turned out great and looked very natural. I tried to be careful to only apply an amount I needed to cover every strand and tried to not overuse the product. Despite this, a lot of dye still came out with the wash. I am giving this a 4 stars mainly because I noticed how a lot of my hair was falling out when I was carefully applying the dye. The last shampoo dye product I used didn't seem to pull out as many strands. I also felt a strange burning sensation on my back and scalp when washing out the dye both with and without shampoo. So if I give any star at all, it's mainly for the color.

Let me preface this by saying that I have been coloring and highlighting my hair at home for years. My gray grows in about every 2 weeks and the time it takes to color my hair, not to mention the damage that has become the norm for me, has had me searching for a better and easier solution for quite some time. When I saw this product and read the reviews, I really thought it might be the solution I was looking for. My hair is a dark ash blonde, so I chose the the linen product. I'll admit I was very nervous about trying it but I was hopeful. I finally tried it four days ago. As much as I wanted to love it, it didn't measure up like I had hoped. First off, people say it's not messy but I found it to be very messy. It's not a thick gel like consistency but is more runny, and it seemed to run out of my hand when I pumped the bottle. It looked VERY orange when I put it on my hair, which was quite concerning, because I naturally have a lot of red undertones and I was afraid of what might be to come if it picked up on those undertones. Many reviews said it was so easy to use, but it really wasn't to me. It doesn't lather like normal shampoo. I found it very difficult to get it everywhere on my scalp that might be sprouting grays. It didn't seem to cover very well. It did irritate my skin just a little bit as it sat, but not as much as box dye. I applied it to my roots the best I could and tried to pull it through the ends of my hair but it seemed to be absorbing very unevenly which made it difficult to evenly coat my hair. The bottle says to let it sit or 10-15 minutes but 25 minutes for stubborn grays, so that's what I did. I rinsed it out in the shower and used the conditioner that came with it. When I got out of the shower, I could immediately tell, even though my hair was wet, that it was too dark. As I blew dry my hair, it became more and more apparent that not only was the color much darker than I was hoping, but that it covered very unevenly and was very flat and dull looking. My hair didn't have any natural highlights or undertones. It was almost black. It stained my skin on my forehead and ears very badly. Much more so than box dye. Four days later and the skin on my forehead is still stained. I ended up having to pull my hair through a cap at home and try to highlight it to bring it back to my natural color as much as possible, but it is still much too dark due to the base tone from this product. It might work okay if you have minimal grays throughout your head or if you are used to a one tone hair color. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't the miracle solution I was hoping for.

I have to dye my gray roots about every 4-6 weeks and using harsh drugstore dye would make my scalp burn, but I refused to pay $120+ for one salon visit. The whole at-home process was a time consuming chore. Then my daughter turned me onto this product and it’s been a game changer. It’s effective, colors my grays, my hair looks healthy and shiny, all in half the time. This product is genius! And I can’t say enough about the packet of conditioner that comes with it. I’ve only bought 1 bottle so far and I’ve dyed my long hair (mid back length) at least 8 times so far, and I still have product left. Consistent beautiful color all the time.

This promotes natural ingredients which is not so because when I finally found a place where they list the ingredients I saw “peroxide which makes sense. Key ingredients include Argan Oil, Noni Fruit, Wild Ginseng, and Olive Oil to nourish hair and improve scalp health. It contains other common hair dye ingredients like ethanolamine, p-Phenylenediamine (PPD), and hydrogen peroxide. Peroxide dries my hair. As much as the ease of use and the pretty colors it still changes the texture of your hair. I was disappointed when I saw the ingredient because I thought finally found something that won’t dry out my hair.
