ZOYA Get Even Ridge Filling Basecoat

I have recently just started getting into actually doing my nails nicely. I am still figuring things out, as I have never had nice long nails, but since I started taking VITAL Proteins Collagen, (for my joint health actually) they are SO nice, long and hard- I decided to start actually taking nice care for them. I was getting frustrated with my nail polish never looking smooth and nice like I see others look. When I would put several coats on, it would just get thick and not feel nice. This stuff fixes that, because somehow it fills the ridges but does not get that thick feeling. I either use two coats of this stuff (and then put OPI nail liquid drying stuff on them) - I actually like the natural color of this, it looks like your own nail, but brighter and healthier, and dare I say- a little exquisite. If I want a different color, I use just one coat of this, and then one coat of the color I want, again ending in the OPI nail drying liquid- which adds another shine and it seems to make the nail polish more sturdy. I didn't mean to give reviews for two more things in this summary, but after about 6 months of fiddling around with things, I thought I would help anyone with any info I have while they start their journey! :)

I use this as a base coat and a cream color for my nails. It lasts longer than polish and has a subtle funny bunny look. :)

This paints on too streaky. I’m trying to be better about home manicures but for what I paid-maybe my nails are too spoiled for home manicures.

My nails were damaged from my old nail extensions (as you can still see the curves on my nails), and it was impossible to put on nail colors evenly no matter what polish I tried. I found this product randomly one day when I was looking for solutions, and I am so glad I gave it a chance! This filling basecoat dries quickly, and nail polish brushes on smoothly afterward. It really works!

Fairly good, but can dry chunky. Needs super careful brushstrokes upon application. Hides nail white lines & color applied on top lasts longer.

I was looking for a ridge filler for my toenails, as I'd been buffing them so thin they were breaking 😅 My old standby ridge filler was discontinued, and normally I save the spendy polishes for my fingernails, but I love Zoya products and thought I'd give this a try. Unfortunately, this isn't it. Longevity is never a concern for me when it comes to toenails, as my toenails almost never chip or peel, so I can't comment on that. However, the application is just uneven and patchy. It also doesn't always play well with non-Zoya polishes, which I've never experienced with Anchor, Naked Base, or the perfectors. Because it dries to a whitish color, it's visible under sheer polishes, and can change the ultimate color of the polish. And it does settle into the ridges, showing the ridges even more clearly under anything that's not completely opaque and making this completely unusable with sheers and jellies. As for the ridge filling, the final result is fair to poor, depending on what kind of top coat I use. A plush or plumping top coat can help, but under a regular top coat, the ridges are still visible, too visible for my liking. It makes me want to go wild buffing them down, but I know where that road leads 😞 Overall, I wouldn't recommend this, even though I love all of Zoya's other base coats. Even if your ridges are minor, this formula isn't the easiest to work with, and this can potentially change the final color of your mani. For minor ridges, a good base, 3 coats of color, and a plumping top coat will often do the trick. Update: I added a Zoya Z-wide brush to this to see if it would help. It does help the application go on more smoothly, with a more even finish, but it still doesn't help much with ridges. Just thought some Zoya fans might like to know.

So far so good. Just note, you iu have to put it on thick to work. 1st coat I made to thin and it did nothing for my deep ridges. Then I applied a 2nd, much thicker coat, and it smoothed out my nails pretty well! Its not clear, more of a pale whitish color. But, this is actually a color I might wear without a top color.

Even when applied in thin layers, this dries white. It does not fill my vertical ridges and peels off quickly. DO NOT waste your money on this product.

It works! Fills the many terrible ridges and weak lines in my nails thus preventing them from tearing, flaking or breaking so easily. I put 2 coats of it on before covering it with 2 coats of my favourite nail polish colour. Would recommend this product

伸びもいいし、成分も安心。個人的に信頼を寄せています。ややお値段は良いですが、シャネルなどと比べれば・・・(笑)
