Im hs swim coach in indoor pool. its me against 40 kids! need loud authoritative whistle, love acme thunderer but is this the right model for my use?

Most swim coaches use the 59.5 but the 63 is louder.

What do the numbers mean 58.5 59.5 60 etc.?

Actually, the Acme website calls the 58.5 the "large" Thunderer, the 59.5 "medium", and the 60.5 "small". Also, the image is supposed to depict the Thunderer 58.5, but it appears to be the 58, so I'm not sure which one they would send to you.
