I've used this 3 times for my Gaggia Anima but the smell makes me so sick Any other suggestions?

I have not noticed a bad smell. Are you mixing it with water as directed? I would call the 1 800 number and talk to them, there are many decalcifiers on the market,but I'm thinking because of what they contain they all may smell similar. Maybe there is a homebrew you could mix and use, but ask Gaggia first, don't want to harm machine.

Can this be used in an ultrasonic cleaner for rusted parts?

I used this in a coffee maker. Since it is designed to remove calcium scale and not iron, I doubt it would help for something that is rusted.

Will this solution work just as well on my gaggia babila machine?

Yes, this is what Gaggia recommends. Strictly follow the descaling instructions in the manual (they might not match the bottle). See below for intro from Manual: When the “CALC CLEAN” icon is displayed, you need to descale the machine. The descaling cycle takes approx. 30 minutes. Not doing this will ultimately make your machine stop working properly. In this case, repair is NOT covered by your warranty. Warning: Use the Gaggia descaling solution only. Its formula has been designed to ensure better machine performance. The use of other descaling solutions may damage the machine and leave residues in the water.

How many uses do you get from one bottle?

You get 2 uses out of one bottle which we descale our machine twice a year. If you have hard water you should descale once a month unless you are using distilled or purified water in your machine than twice a year is good.
