CYCPLUS GPS Wireless Bike Computer M1, 2.9" LCD Screen, IPX6, 1200mAh

An excellent alternative to Garmin and other pricey computers! Connecting to satellite is quick. Left button to turn on, pause, and resume. Middle button to save. Right button to toggle through three screens for Now, Average, and Max. Very easy to toggle on the handlebar with your thumb. The display is very easy to read. It's bright enough in the sun and a decent size font. The top half shows speed, the lower half is split with add on extra data on the left and various other data (elevation gain, grade, etc) on the right. Synching and uploading is easy. Save the ride. Load the CycPlus Fit app on your phone. Synch starts automatically. When done, click the three dots and export. (I export to Ride with GPS.) Tech support is prompt and accurate. I had trouble figuring out how to use all the features and activate the cadence function. I got prompt replies to my emails that were very clear and helpful. Cons: The summary data in the app is all in kilometers. Temperature is in Celcius. The data in Ride with GPS is translated into data I can use. The temperature function is way off by 15+ degrees F. I don't really care about that. My cadence sensor popped off after riding over some rough road. I used it for about 200 miles and got a pretty good idea what I'm doing cadence wise so I don't think I'll replace it. It doesn't have a route mapping function but for my purposes, I don't really care. Overall, this is a totally decent alternative to the $250-$500 bike computers out there. This unit has everything I would want to have for a very low price.

The feature set is great for the price but there are challenges. The process of syncing activities is not very straightforward, sometimes it works other times it won't or the app reports the data is corrupt. The disappointing part is the unit stopped working after less than 2 months and now will not power on or show signs of charging when I plug it in to charge. The included speed/cadence sensor never worked at all even when I tried new batteries.. I reached out to the company's support site and got a response asking for the place of purchase and order number. I responded and I am waiting for a response to that. *Edit* I took a while to update this. I got a response from their support, they are I believe overseas from me so the response time to correspondence varied but they always responded sometimes it was on the slow side but they were always friendly, and they had me try the typical things support departments try and then sent me a completely new cycling computer. Turns out they had a bug in a firmware update that caused mine to stop working. I am back to riding my bike and getting tons of stats and life is good. After this experience, I will definitely look at this brand for my future cycling computer needs

I very rarely write reviews. I am coming back after almost two years to write this review. I have owned countless bike computers over the years, mostly brand names. Seldom have they lasted a full year, often less. This Cycplus is still running strong. Still runs a long time with a full charge. Really durable. 5 stars for sure. My only compliant is, the trip odometer resets to zero when it's turned off after a ride rather than having to be manually reset, and continuing to record total mileage. . I used to keep track of my weekly mileage by just allowing the trip odo to keep running. So I miss that function. But there is no question that if this unit was to fail or be damaged tomorrow, I'd buy another. New purchasers should be aware that the speed function will work without the purchase of a wheel/ speed sensor, but the odo will not. The speed function works via GPS signal without any additional sensor, but the odometer does not. Then of course another sensor is required if you wish to see cadence. I didn't realize this, maybe I simply didn't read the ad copy carefully. So you need to understand that if you want to measure both distance and cadence you're looking at an additional $32 for sensors. That makes this computer somewhat less of a bargain, but if you have the same longevity I have experienced then it's still a better value than a computer that fails after 9 months and needs to be replaced.

First, Steven at customer service was of great help! When the rubber band broke dropping my cadence sensor I chose not to return home for another rubber band but tried just sticking it inside my right sock. Worked like a charm and that’s how I utilize it all on all my rides. When I sent a text to Cycplus Steven promptly replied and offered to send a replacement band at no charge. For two weeks I tried unsuccessfully to get the odometer and timer to work, watching multiple YouTube videos for info. Frustrated so I sent Steven another text asking for help. In less than 24 hours he responded to let the GPS connect and then press the left button. Voila! Now I don’t have to rely on Fitbit and my iPhone which tends to overheat and malfunction before completing a 25 mile ride. So I really like it and appreciate Steven’s prompt responses. Next, to download Zoss to my iPhone.

Starting to glitch after 10 months of owning it. Won’t start a ride properly and resetting it hasn’t solved the issue. It was easy to use and connect to ANT sensors.

I've used multiple bike computers for about 25 years and this by far is the best one I've owned. Having the wireless sensors for cadence and wheel speed is so much easier than routing wired sensors and magnets on spokes, etc. The display is easy to see and it has every feature I could ever need, including a lit display for low light and nighttime rides. I really enjoy that I can upload my workouts to my phone too to keep track of my progress and goals. CYCPLUS is a must-have for all of my bicycles and I'm already telling my biking friends how great this computer is and I'm sure they'll buy them too. Thanks CYCPLUS!!!

Don’t bother getting this as it only sometimes uploads your data to a phone or computer where you keep track of your riding. The app on the phone showed that rides are saved on the M2 but not uploaded. It is making a connection or the phone would not show that there is 55k of data waiting to upload. It does show your cadence and hart rate while riding but not to any app to save. Turned it on one day and all uploaded, worked every time since. Not using often now due to cancer meds taking the energy out of me.
