How thick are the stems? I want a stem that looks somewhat authentic.

About a pencil thickness. As a gardener I feel the size of the bloom and stem thickness are in check. If you want thick stems you can go to the craft store for 10$ a piece.

What does the flower center measure without the petals?

Center measures 2 1/2 Inches. Didn't realize how real it looked till I saw some cut sunflowers in the store.

How do these hold up outside? With Fading?? Rain??

I had some out for about a month in snow and rain and they held up VERY well. This was also on the S side of my house where they got the most sun. I brought them inside to a S facing window for a while, too. No noticeable fading, and will probably have them out in the fall. Sturdily built, bendable stems.
