Used on an ottoman at home
Good dye, first time user - easy to work with. The colour came out evenly, soaked into the fabric well, and gave a solid, permanent finish once dry. Worked as expected and good value for the amount provided.

Avoid!
I brought 2 bottles of dark grey to dye a child's cream with red flower sofa. I did 3 coats. I followed the instructions properly. I cleaned my sofa and mixed 250ml dye to 125ml colour boost. After the first coat, I regretted it massively. The mixture of dye and penetrative boost was very very watery. I used a sponge at first as i noticed the mixture dripping as i was applying it. I then decided to change to a brush, this wasn't any better. After the first coat, I noticed a lot of inconsistency and patches. I let it dry for 2 days and I still continued with 2 more coats. Still, theres noticeable patches and inconsistencies. Not only have I wasted money on the product, there is a smell coming from the sofa now, the texture of the sofa has changed and is no longer soft, it just feels nd looks nasty. It's ruined my daughters sofa. I would have thought as I'm using a dark colour on a light sofa, it would work amazingly. How wrong I was!! I feel annoyed at myself for ignoring the negative reviews.

Meh... guess its ok
I don't know.. did most the job but still not the best. As you can see in the photos the die ran into other sections even after I left to try 3 times and applied 3 coats, if you're dying a lamp shade like I did that has tussles, the die wouldn't stay in place with them, in the end a grabbed a quality marker pen and coloured bits in. For the lighter shades that wouldn't take I used a matte black spray paint can from afar and this did the trick. After the shade was dry after applying 3 coating of the liquid die the colour still wasn't deep black it was more musky dark grey so if you're looking for ebony black like I was then this is not quite for you, as I said before I used a spray paint can in the end to get more of a deep black. Don't get me wrong the die did most the job but just not quite there. 1 bottle was enough for all of this the large and smaller lampshade and I still have quite abit left, a little goes along way.

Bed base
I have a 1990's cream bed base with shiny pattern on. I changed my bedroom colour to grey but didn't want to buy a new bed. Googled fabric dye and found Scratch Dr. Bought small bottle and covered 3 drawers and one side. Ordered the large one and did rest of base and 4th drawer. Also did 2nd coat on 3 drawers. Ordered another large bottle and did remaining parts again, then gave all a 3rd coat, apart from back of base. Well pleased with result. It's not brilliant as shiny parts didn't cover as well and the parts with no solid material behind look a bit patchy. BUT... it's not cream and 90's looking! Will fit with my new colour.Would recommend it

This product Doesn't work is expensive as you also have to buy colour boost
Sadly this product doesn't work ๐ at least it hasn't worked on my new jumper which I have managed to get bleach on the sleeve. Also I would like point when you buy fabric dye, you also have to buy colour boost separately which I have found out once I was reading instructions, each bottle cost around ยฃ10 so not cheap! For that price I would expect it to work! This morning was the 3rd time I have tried to use the product and nothing again after I left it to work yesterday all-day until this morning.
