Assembly tips
Good price and quick delivery of this item. It came nicely packaged in a box with all the pieces protected in plastic wrapping. Instructions are minimal but adequate. Once assembled, this stand holds my two recreational bikes with 700 mm tires end-to-end (Option 2: bikes in opposite direction) very well. This stand would not work with bikes in the same direction due to handlebar interference. Most reviews that rate this product low are due to assembly difficulty. You must be patient and not get frustrated when assembling this stand. Due to the design using pipes and tubes (i.e., curved surfaces), alignment can be challenging. However, all the pieces will fit together with no modification or extra drilling required. As directed, do not tighten the screws until all of them have been finger-tightened to hold the stand together. Keep in mind that the female threads on the tubes and supports are not the highest quality threads; therefore, some screws may allow finger-tightening all the way, whereas, others may only engage one or two threads. That's OK - don't be tempted to tighten them with the Allen wrench at this point. If you want to know how much thread engagement to expect on each part by just finger-tightening, try inserting and removing the screw before assembly. The main difficulty is aligning the screws with the female threads in the tubes because you can't see the threads once the tubes are inserted in the legs. Therefore, you have to get the screws started by feel. This takes patience! They will fit when everything is aligned properly, but don't get frustrated. Keep slowly moving everything around until the screws become aligned and engage the threads. Once all the screws and bolts are finger-tight, then tighten them with the wrench. Remember, you are not attaching a massive trailer hitch to a tow truck. The screws only need to be snug tight and the stand will work just fine. If you have problems getting the base to lie flat on the floor (not wobble), then stand on the tubular legs and tighten the square tube hex head bolts first. Then tighten the remaining screws in an alternating pattern (like lug nuts on a automobile wheel) while often rechecking the flatness of the stand on the floor. Just be patient and don't give up. Once assembled, the stand is a quality product with respect to the price.

Bike Stand
I purchased this bike stand for our bikes at home, while not in use. I was surprised that it was so easy to put together and very sturdy once assembled. Which by the way, the assembly took less time to complete than unpacking the box and gathering my screwdrivers. I first used the stand in the rear of my truck to stabilize my bike. I had to transport my bike from the bike shop and get it home. My SPECIALIZED bike does not have a kickstand and I do not drive prudently and even in a moving vehicle this stand kept my bike stable, at highway speeds nonetheless! I realize this stand was not made for my particular application, but it worked very well and if it can handle a 50 mile ride home in the bed of my pickup it will do excellent in your garage holding your carbon fiber, full suspension, limited edition. Needless to say the stand works very well keeping my wife's bike and my bike in place. Great value, great product, easy to assemble and quick shipping.

Not Perfect for All Bikes, but Perfect for Ours
I own a lot of bikes. I have more bikes than I have time to ride them. I needed a good space-saving solution for our 3rd bedroom, which is pretty much the "bike room". Like football, the matter of bike storage became a game of inches; precious inches that would be lost if we had to lean every bike on a kickstand. Originally I bought the Racor 4-bike standalone rack, but for a room that small it still wasn't a sound investment. Ultimately I decided on this two-bike floor stand, and am glad I did. It only took 10 minutes to assemble (Protip: Don't tighten everything down until ALL parts are connected/screws are in place), and it allows us to stand the bikes straight up in thinner lines. That being said, here are three important factors that should affect your purchasing decision: 1. Gearing: Most of what my girlfriend and I ride are single-speed bikes. If you ride bikes with even slightly bulky derailleurs, this will be a problem when you have to turn one bike around in order to avoid clashes between the handlebars. If you value your tuning, do not store geared bikes facing rearward in this thing. 2. Wheel Size: 26" wheels will fit this rack flawlessly. 700c wheels, however, will be a bit tight if your tire size is anywhere at or above 25mm in width, as this adds a little more to the height factor. I've found that the wheels will still fit at up to 28mm diameters, but the fit is tight. My 29er MTB will obviously not fit this rack. 3. Disc Brakes: As mentioned in previous reviews, this rack is not accomodating for most bikes with disc brakes. Some people squeeze them in just right for fitment, but as disc brakes can be finicky enough, I wouldn't chance putting a bike with disc brakes in this rack. Bottom Line: Great rack for storing bikes and taking up less space, minus a few caveats. My girlfriend and I ride adult-sized bikes, so I imagine almost any kid's bike (20" wheels or smaller) will fit this frame wonderfully. At around $30, we consider it a steal.

Great Economical Bike Stand
For the price point, item is solidly built and functions well. Relatively easy to put together. Didn't have any of the problems that some other reviewers mentioned. However, I can see it being an issue trying to accommodate two same sized bikes both with flat bar handle bars, in a head in orientation. Luckily my kids have 24" and 26" bicycles that fit perfectly fine, both head in. I tried placing the bikes tail in, but the rear derailleurs and the cassettes would hit the wheel support. The one negative I saw is that the stand is not heavy enough to stay put. My kids aren't exactly the most gentle with shoving their bikes in and out of the stand. So it moves around from all that shoving and yanking. I had a couple of sand bags that solved that problem. But just be gentle with the in and out and it should be fine. A good product for the price. Recommended!!

Used in my garage as an alternative to always placing my bikes against the wall. Works perfectly and installation was quite easy as well.

I find it to be quite sturdy. It took a bit longer to assemble than I expected (approx. 1 hr) as it was a bit tricky to get it level horizontally and vertically. The instructions did say not to tighten the screws until you are sure it is level -- should have done as I was told! I will fasten this to a piece of wood (probably plywood) to put in the back of my pick up truck once I can get to the storage shed after the snow melts. Francis C. La Pêche, Quebec, Canada

This bike rack is good for the money, but it did not come with assembly directions. It was pretty easy to figure out.
