Beware the short cable. A shame replacement parts are not readily sold.
Perfect fit for replacing my Bathstore Cistern valve 5 star! Unfortunately for me, I didn't clock the mentioned short 150mm cable, mine requires a longer cable, and I opened the manufacturers packaging in my haste to get my toilet back online before I realised. Doh! 0 stars for me. Beware of the short cable length folks. Also, it would be great if an online plumbers merchant sold the flush cylinder on its own, it is a bayonet fit, designed for and promoted as easy replacement, however, not being readily available separately (I couldn't find it) defeats the point of the easy replacement boast! Final rant. I only needed to replace the cable, which is the most likely component to fail. Needless to say, I also couldn't find a replacement cable either. A lot of plastic being produced where smaller components on offer would fix the problems the majority of households have. Off to eBay to sell this one on - as new.
