GREEN WATER FARM Daphnia Magna Eggs Live Fish Food for Hatching and Culture Suitable for Feed Betta Fish

Followed instructions to a T. Tried three different times in different containers and different rooms in the house. No luck!

No issues, good birth rate. Larger than Moina and take a little longer to hatch.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: First off, it is not a capsule as they state on the site; it is more of a vial with a cap. A fair amount of eggs get stuck in it, so basicly you have to dump, then put the capsule in the water to get the rest. Not that that matters, as hatching was a no go. Not one hatched. Complete waste of money. Should have bought live. And to make that worse, you can not even get a refund when it does not work! I will never make this mistake again.

I have ordered this product twice now. I have always been impressed with the hatch rate. This past season the daphnia actually survived the winter and came back on there own. You have to have patients but you don't need to pay for shipping of live animals and all the extra water weight.

Tried it, none hatched. Maybe I got a bad batch.

Unfortunately, nothing hatched. Not sure what I could have done wrong so I guess...bad batch? I figured after 2 weeks I would see something if there was anything. If I jumped the gun and something happens Ill update. Update: Guess I couldn't see them but after a couple months I now have millions of them. I guess I didnt know exactly what I was looking for... or they were just too small for at least a month. Would be 5star if both caps were able to produce but I guess I got enough out of the 1.

They do hatch, I just had to wait a little longer than expected. All seem to be what is advertised. Seem to be eating already, you get a decent amount of eggs for the money.

Don’t waste your money. I am a biology professor and hoped to hatch these Daphnia for my class. I set up an aquarium for them with air pump and everything. Ideal conditions. Not a single egg hatches from EITHER vial. Complete waste of money. Do yourself a favor and order a bag of life, hatched specimens from another seller.

Hab diese wasserfloh Eier gekauft in der Hoffnung dadurch meine fische immer wieder mit Lebendfutter versorgen zu können. Leider wurde ich stark enttäuscht.schlupfrate ist sehr niedrig. Sowohl drinnen in einem seperaten Aquarium als auch im Garten in einer Regentonne. Da sind im Garten in den anderen Tonnen mehr wild gekommen als bei den Eiern. Und den Preis finde ich zu hoch Kann es nicht empfehlen zu kaufen

I was skeptical about ordering these because of the massive number of bad reviews. Roughly 5% of reviews had some hatch, so I decided to take a chance. My order was like 95% of others with zero hatch rate. This was a waste of money and I will not be buying again

Did not develop..into anything

Lots of terrible reviews but I've bought these several times over the years and never had an issue. First of all you need dechlorinated water I've used spring water, melted snow, even rainwater they all work. Next you need it to be fairly warm and they need some daylight. Next they need time. Sometimes they hatch in days and sometimes it takes a week or more. DON'T GIVE UP ON THEM TOO SOON!!! When they hatch they are so tiny so you will struggle to see them it is easy to assume it didn't work and dump the water down the drain. They will hatch. I have literally tossed them in a Home Depot bucket of rainwater and scooped them out all summer long with zero effort on my part beyond tossing in some spirulina powder here and there.

Not a single hatchling under highly controlled lab conditions.
